Employees of one small Missouri town had an extreme reaction when residents elected their first Black female mayor: 80% of the police department quit, along with the city clerk and two other staffers. And, according to the New York Times, no one seems to wants to guess, or even speculate about, the real reason for the mass exodus.
....The city attorney, clerk, and waste water treatment supervisor also resigned with the police officers. ...

Near Morehouse, Canalou, Matthews, Dexter, Risco.
Does that help you any?
I grew up in Morehouse, 15 miles or so from Parma, they are both in Missouri’s “boot heel” and in the same county (New Madrid), earthquake country.
I’ll ax my brother-in-law about the goings on in Parma, the next time I see him, he lives there.
P.S. 6 cops in that little hamlet is big time over kill.
You nailed it.
You found the unicorn!
Not only were you wrong in this case, you would be wrong in most cases. Most blacks may vote democrat, but they aren't Marxists. Most don't have the political sophistication or awareness to even know what Marxism is.
Are the residents known as ‘Parmesans’ ?
Of course they don't know that the view that their predicament is solely the result of the struggle between racial/socio-economic groups for power and control is a MArxist viewpoint, but they still believe it.
I'd say 95% of American blacks believe wholeheartedly that critical race theory is the most apt explanation of history.
On that I would agree.
Oh that was just too cheesy.
