'I was shaking and almost vomiting'
Local police received a complaint when a shopper discovered Nazi and Confederate merchandise at a popular flea market last weekend, according to Chief William Wright.
An officer responded to the Redwood Flea Market on South Turnpike Road Sunday to investigate the report and found Nazi and Confederate memorabilia for sale. He told the complainant, who is Jewish, there was nothing police could do because the merchandise was on private property.

It almost makes you think that Roof was a Democratic Party operative. So have we had our Reichstag Fire?
That being said, I agree with your argument. However someone I know very well worked 911 for over 15 years and has observed not a single instance of a frivolous caller being cited. Additionally, all 911 calls or responded to, regardless of the nature of the call.
Because if there were no response, and something nasty happened, the lawyers would get in line.
“Someone photoshopped the photo to show her performing a lewd act with a member of the equine persuasion.”
That’s terrible! I hope the horse sues for defamation of character.
I agree with you. It's a part of history and if you like it and can afford it and are not stealing it from anyone, you should be able to have it. That's what freedom is about.
Tough.
Learn to live with challenges. It'll make you stronger.
Friggin candyazz.
No amount of reason or logic worked on her, and she ended up getting a "thank you for your purchase and please purchase again" refund from the top banana. I'd never encountered that particular brand of out-of-control raving, so it was a learning experience for me. She'd have given birth to kittens had she seen us back in the early 1960's "playing army" with all the vet bring-backs.

I have a smoke machine for our LED lighting for our band. The other lead singer (besides me) is a former smoker and a wuss about “smoke”, even though these things are completely harmless. But being a team player I agreed to not use it.
But last night I thought I’d give it a try by putting the whole light/smoke thing way off to the side where the movement of the air would push it away so we’d not get it.
No dice. He complained after the first time I used it.
So, his daughter is doing her “singer/songwriter” thing during the break while he’s somewhere else. I wanted to get a good picture of her with the cool lighting affect. He storms over to me very angry and tells me to “KNOCK OFF USING THE SMOKE”. At that point he was no more than a person “in the room”.
He later apologized (but did say it bothers her too), but all I’m thinking is, what a pansie. The whole band is a family, except me. They are super “naturalist” in the way they live and have so many food alergies that they can’t even consider ever eating in a restaurant.
I think it’s psychosomatic. But that’s just me. GMO corn alergy? Yeah, right.
I’m really getting tired of pandering to the lowest common denominator.
When will this extend to Confederate symbols, is the question.
I know... poor horse.
(I do like the way that soldiers and vets strike back. They didn’t get her page taken down. They said, “Freedom of speech? Fine! I have that, too!”)
I actually own a pair of those, for historic perspective.
A friend of mine who is in no way a racist collects negro memorabilia from the civil war. He actually has a genuine copy of the military discharge papers for a black soldier. He also owns this 78 rpm record: http://www.popsike.com/1910-Racist-78-rpm-NIGGER-LOVE-A-WATERMELON-78rpm/250011805261.html
I thought he was kidding until I saw the record.
Jews are a race?
We need to start doing the same. Flags of Che.....make me cry in fear. Rainbow flags make me nauseous.
He’s concerned with the wrong folks. Confederate and “Nazi” memorabilia are part of history. To forget them and hide them will insure that their ideas will be tried again.
On the other hand, if that nice man in the White House (whom we can expect Mr. Whiner voted for) gets his way he better get ready to sew on his yellow star.
My horse says to tell her that he’s available nights and weekends.
So ...
Since the Jew was sick to his stomach, it was never actually defined WHICH, Confederate or Nazi, memorabilia made him sick.
Was the Nazi memorabilia more poignant, because he had familial ties with the history, or was he a second or third generation removed from that time in history?
Mind you, there WAS a place out on Long Island, NY that had a small display of SS memorabilia, as part of a tank museum.
You should point up that it’s not smoke but water vapor with a touch of sublimated CO2. Ask him when he developed the allergy to water.
Then find another band to sing with.
L
The only smoke machines that I've seen used dry ice and water....emitting strictly water vapor...was yours different???
No, they aren't. There are three races of humans on Earth...Negroid, Caucasoid, and Mongoloid. Every "group" is either purely one of the three, of various combinations thereof.
The wife and I hit a HUGE flea market & antique festival in Virginia several years ago. Don’t remember the town name but it was an annual event near Galax, I think. There was even a gun show.
There was also more of this black “kitsch” than you could shake a stick at. I told my wife we could buy up a bunch of it but we’d have to have a secret room to display it. Really, lots of interesting items including some cast iron stuff.
