'I was shaking and almost vomiting'
Local police received a complaint when a shopper discovered Nazi and Confederate merchandise at a popular flea market last weekend, according to Chief William Wright.
An officer responded to the Redwood Flea Market on South Turnpike Road Sunday to investigate the report and found Nazi and Confederate memorabilia for sale. He told the complainant, who is Jewish, there was nothing police could do because the merchandise was on private property.

GREAT comment at the source website by "Mike Farley" -
"I can go downtown to a shop in the hipster art section that sells poster of Che Guevara , Mao, and Fidel Castro. You can also pick up a Soviet era hammer and sickle 3/5 flag thats embroidered with the words , Revolution Now. As far as I know not a soul has complained to anyone about the mass murder merchandise for sale at this supposedly chic shop. Progressives are very selective about exactly who, and / or what, should be hated and outlawed."

In the age of insanity there are plenty of people think that because they dont like something it should vanish off the face of the Earth. Then they go into meltdown when they find out it still exists.

I have a family member who is an antiques dealer and he says that by far the biggest purchasers of what he calls “black kitsch” are black people.

Police have enough time on their hands to respond to calls from such idiots but not enough time to coordinate with ICE so that ICE can take a serious illegal alien criminal into custody.

Two days ago a female went to several military and veteran FB pages and posted a photo of herself wiping her butt with the American flag.
*That* was offensive.
The response?
Someone photoshopped the photo to show her performing a lewd act with a member of the equine persuasion.
About 100 soldiers and vets shared the photo to *her* page and everyone was happy.
Freedom of speech, baby.

I want to punch that dweeb in the face.
You and me both. If I was in a good mood, I might let him/her take off the specs before popping him/her. Maybe.

folks (the ones who actually fought the war and saw the atrocities) didn’t have problems with nazi memorabilia in the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s.
it’s only the following generations that have a problem. because they’ve been taught to have a problem. that’s all that’s happening now with the confederate flag and monuments... the left is TEACHING kids that these parts of history are verboten and should be hidden away from view.
no leftist wants an honest accounting of history. not ever. not anywhere. they know that they will not look good for them. ussr. nazi germany. cuba. cambodia. PRC. etc.
i wonder if this overreaction to the confederate flag doesn’t have something to do with democRATS not being able to counter the charge that slavery and the KKK were democRAT institutions. since their past can’t be changed, i guess they figure it’s better to hide it so nobody knows about it.

I understand "apologist" to be a person who makes an argument in favor of something that's controversial.
I wonder what an "apologist" for the "Jewish race" would be arguing for. Is it controversial to be Jewish?

If I were a European Jew I would probably have strong feelings about people flying Nazi flags, but my feelings don't trump another guy's right to fly a piece of cloth with a symbol that I despise printed on it.
Seems to me that these days people are offended by more insignificant things they don't like than they were just a few years ago. There are many things in the public square that I don't agree with, but if the current US is really still a free republic I have to honor other people's right to express an opposite point of view.

the also buy lots of slavery memorabilia. bills of sale. documents. historical photos. etc.
nothing wrong with it. it’s history and owning a historical document makes one feel closer to history somehow. lots of this stuff ends up as research material for books too.

Awww. Marvin Milquetoast having a bad day? Perhaps the sellers of these articles were feeling guilty for owning them and sought to divest themselves of the offensive materials by selling them to less sensitive individuals.
The complainant is a jerk. There, I said it. They have simply served up more material for anti-semites to work with. They probably are the types who would jump up onto the sofa if they saw a mouse in the house, screaming their stupid head off.
