Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is set to officially declare his candidacy for president next Monday and Wisconsinites are ready with a warning to the rest of the nation about the Republican's "dangerous agenda."
The rally against Walker will be held at 4 p.m. on July 13 at the Waukesha County Expo Center, 1000 Northwest Road, Waukesha.
People For the American Way, Voces de la Frontera, Americans United for Change, We Are Wisconsin, League of Conservation Voters and a coalition of more than 20 local and national grassroots activist groups are involved in planning the event.
Their goal is sharing personal stories to explain how his extreme policies have hurt families, workers, students, women, immigrants and the environment."
It’s good to know some Americans have a steady job. I wonder though if the Democrats pay their rent-a-mob workers above the minimum wage and provide health insurance, or do they put them on a part-time basis to avoid paying benefits? With more than a dozen announced GOP presidential candidates that’s an awful lot of mobs to hire.
Not to belabor the point, but comparing Governors to Senators on the issue of Sanctuary Cities is not apt analogy, And no, I’m not blaming Walker necessarily either....but analogies need to contemplate the two very different roles played here...
This is so true....look at what the Donald has accomplished by having the right enemies lately....having greedy corrupt union thugs against you is Walker having the right enemies too.
I stand corrected. Apparently the Walkers moved to the Governors mansion from his very modest Milwaukee suburban home

after their son graduated from high school.
As the sons of a prominent politician, the two have grown up in the public eye, attending public school in Wauwatosa.
This would be sometime since 2013.
He is not a permanent resident, nor influenced by, the loony bin (Madison Wisconsin) which former Gov. Lee Sherman Dreyfus declared ... 30 square miles surrounded by reality,
All of the candidates have been inconsistent in their views on dealing with our immigration program. Scott Walker and H-1B Cruz are no exception.
Expect the Govs in states with a Sanctuary problem, like Wisconsin and New Jersey, to take some heat over it.
The Governors have the authority to order the law enforcement agencies under their command to detain illegals that are under arrest and cooperate to with ICE.
So far I’ve given $200 to the Walker campaign. What these two legged turds are doing encourages me to give even more. GO SCOTT, GO!!!
The best thing about Walker is his enemies.
Do you know if the announcement will be televised, when, and how those of us who are out of state (I’m in TN) can access the broadcast?
Why can’t someone - anyone - simply blend in with these people and document where they come from, where they stay, and where they go after the photo ops?
James O’Keefe dashing back and forth across the Rio Grande and exposing leftist hacks working in government offices is all well and good but I would think simple exposition of these prefab sign-holding frauds would a) be invalidation of their names, goals and tactics and b) enrage them thus increasing the chances of a).
They don’t even have the right address for the Expo Center.
Fair enough...I like both Cruz and Walker as candidates...but I do not buy into this “we need a governor” thing due to executive experience, etc. I’m not saying that was your insinuation, but it has been a point belabored on this forum.
The Presidency is no longer and executive or administrative position...it’s a visionary position, a bully pulpit decision, a direction setting decision. Both men, within the constraints of their offices, have shown no fear in setting a vision....few Senators do this admittedly, but Cruz is not most Senators. And being someone totally against public sector unions, I admire what Walker has done as well.
The American press whores for democrats - they don’t want to expose the left. It’s that simple.
If FOX wanted to win the media war for good they would hire O’Keefe and give him a “60 Minutes” type show - and a budget to hire the best... Even CNN could do it ... they would instantly have credibility as being ‘fair’.

Druge is the only person now who sees the value of O’Keefe... but then again Drudge is always ahead of his time.
“I have not seen any of his positions
on immigration.”
He was for amnesty before he was agains’t it so I guess he has two positions on immigration. :-)
Umm.....Madison, the capital city of WI is the Berkeley of the Midwest. It was so long before he started living there, (which he does because that's where the Governor's residence is)
There's not a whole lot a Governor can do about the rabidly leftist areas of a state....all local government agents, police, etc. are cut from the same cloth.
You will also note that Milwaukee is a sanctuary city. This is where Sheriff David Clarke lives and works and does his best to fight the policies of the left.
conservativejoy is a Walker ankle biter.....thinks that the way to get Ted Cruz elected is to cut down any other potential candidate.
To my knowledge Walker has never spoke about Sanctuary Cities.
It will be broadcast on local TV. I don’t know about national. I’m sure that Fox News will carry excerpts, at least.
Tamping down the power of the unions, giving authority back to the local units of government, lowering taxes and balancing the budget have been the focus of his efforts because this is where he could make the largest impact for the most people in the state.
We had a $3 billion budget hole to close, plus the previous Dem Governor had illegally raided funds which needed to be reimbursed. Walker did all of this and produced a budget surplus (which he returned as a tax refund) and has since that time, produced budgets which did not raise taxes.
As a resident of this state, that, to me is better use of his time and effort than his "ordering" a Sanctuary city to cooperate with ICE and having the locals summarily ignore it.
