Trump takes incendiary immigration views to GOP faithful: Tycoon says he would fine 'cunning' Mexico $100,000 for every illegal immigrant who crosses border in order to 'take back our country'
At the second address in Phoenix, Trump unveiled his plan, under which he would hold the government responsible for those who crossed the border, and charge them a fee for each person.
He said: 'Every time Mexico - really intelligently - sends people over we charge Mexico $100,000 for every person they send over.
Republican frontrunner spoke at events in Las Vegas and Phoenix, Arizona Railed against government of Mexico for 'sending' people 'they don't want' Said he would fine them $100,000 for every illegal border crossing But defended legal immigration, pointed out he is married to a Slovenian Also pushed his credentials as a negotiator, and slammed current 'bad deals' by U.S. politicians including Obama, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry Said he's 'militaristic', wants to dramatically increase defense spending
Donald Trump has won over Republican voters with a pair of speeches to the party faithful, attacking the government of Mexico and outlining a plan to charge them $100,000 for every illegal immigrant who crosses the southern border.
The Republican presidential front-runner got round after round of applause at successive events in Las Vegas, Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona, at which he rounded on the Mexican government for allegedly 'pushing' undocumented immigrants to the U.S. to avoid dealing with them themselves.
Trump said that Mexico had been allowed to get away with the scheme because they are 'smart' and President Obama and his administration are 'stupid' - a situation which can only be fixed if he leads the charge to 'take back our country'.

Donald gets up a good head of steam and then runs off the tracks.
There a lots of ways, but here is some low hanging fruit; place a transition tax on every remittance sent from the United States to Mexico.
Obama’s entire presidency has been one big unconstitutional train wreck. That goes without saying. But:
1. How does that justify unconstitutional conduct from Trump? And,
2. Constitutional issues aside, how does Trump plan to enforce this “fine” against Mexico (which, of course, is not subject to U.S. law or the authority—real or imagined—of the U.S. President)?
Sorry, but the 11 million has ben around since the early 90s.
Like I said, the 40 MILLION are from the Border Patrol who would be the most accurate source.
Glad to see you backing off your first post of 8 million.
The ONLY positive solution is to deport every last illegal - directly and indirectly by withholding taxpayer benefits and employment opportunities....just like Mehico does with their illegal invaders.
hahahah. 95% of presidential campaign promises are to pass legislation. People seem to not notice that.
Pick any promise you hear a candidate make, and ask the same question you did about this fine.
“...threaten to stop the one way Western Union telegraphing of money from here to Mexico.”
McLeod’s is a huge peach farm in McBee SC with a fresh peach/veggie store & ice cream parlor. They ship peaches all over the USA. We visit GOING & COMING on Myrtle Beach trips. We love the place...peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream, yummm.
A local radio station did a segment on the “labor” that works the farm. A couple hundred H-2A immigrant field hands/packers. The farm owners provide transportation to/from Mexico, room & board, a soccer field, and pays $10.50 per hour. The laborers work 6 months, and earn about $30,000.
One of the laborers was interviewed and said the money is sent to Mexico to allow their family members to live well.
You will have to wait and see how Trump, providing he wins, implements his plans. He hasn’t confided the details to me.
Speaking of comic books...
Put that giant border wall on wheels, with a cow catcher on the southern side, and for every illegal Mexican who comes here from now on move it south one foot. If we had done that decades ago, we’d now own 2,000 miles of Mexico, free of Mexicans. (j/k)
You do realize that Mexico is a sovereign nation, not subject to U.S. law, right? So, let’s say he becomes president and gets Congress to pass legislation authorizing this “fine.” Why would Mexico even think about paying?
If that is our cost to support each ILLEGAL, exactly what is “incendiary” about it?
Another proof that journalism IQ standards existeth not.
Now this is the right track. Go after Mexico. The corrupt, inept government of Mexico is directly responsible for every citizen that leaves. They have caused a refugee crisis that does not have to exist.
Sanctions for causing a refugee situation.
The UN could conceivably impose the sanctions and give the money to the host country as they do in other refugee situations.
“Incindiary” is both subjective and inaccurate.
We are in an ink war. The lies will go on unabated.
“Show me the data” is cryptonite to the press (including Fox I’m afraid).
Just the most "fertile". :-)
. . . or yell for the ACLU, La Raza or your local Democrat/GOP Open Border Defender.
“Ignoring a plea from the Republican Party chairman to tone down his rhetoric”
Discredited by Trump. This was a lie from the get go to used in DNC ad copy like this.
The lies continue unabated.
Is this still a conservative website?
I know those are not real Mexicans or those guys would be shooting their pistols into the ceiling of the bar
Mea culpa, no I didn't know that. That changes everything!
Good thing we have Congress to figure out how to change the cash flow between nations. Maybe if we call it a "tax" instead of a fine, or "reduction in payments," etc.
On 9/12/09, when nearly 1 million gathered in Washington, Fox news limited coverage and reported 10s of thousands were in attendance.
I knew who they were at that moment.
