Former Florida governor Jeb Bush (R) argued Wednesday that the United States should pass immigration reform because the U.S. economy needs the labor of young immigrants, and immigrants are "more fertile."
"Immigrants create far more businesses than native-born Americans," Bush said at the Faith and Freedom Coalition's Road to the Majority conference. "Immigrants are more fertile, and they love families, and they have more intact families, and they bring a younger population. Immigrants create an engine of economic prosperity."
Bush said immigrants are an advantage that the United States has over China, Europe and Japan, which don't have the same immigrant tradition and are struggling to find young laborers.
"If we don’t do it, we will be in decline, because the productivity of this country is dependent upon young people that are equipped to be able to work hard," Bush said.
Bush, whose wife is a Mexican-born immigrant, has long been an advocate for comprehensive immigration reform.

Amen to all you just stated. All our government needs to do is to stimulate the economy with less taxes, rules and regulation instead of screwing up things with socialistic inspired ideas. Once again make families feel that it is worth while to grow a family who could look towards to a fairly secure future.
As it is now, from one day to the next no one really knows how secure of a future they will have and who wants to bring kids into an uncertain future, with the probably exception of some ignorant under educated immigrants who think everything is just fine, what may be true when compared to their country of origin, until reality sets in and they are on food stamps and public aid.
You know I just don’t understand the politicians ‘shrinking population’ bull crap. The U.S. is at what now? 340 million? Growing way too fast for me and we had lots fewer problems when our population was a lot smaller. The small city I live in has grown 20-30 fold since I can remember and along with that growth just came rampant crime on the local news every night.
The U.S. was a lot nicer place when it had a smaller population.
Trump can use this with Black Americans, which have constantly been marginalized by illegals.

This is the argument that the barren French, Germans and even English swallowed. The immigrants were to do the jobs that the children the Euros weren’t having would have done.

Ironically, the fecund, industrious immigrants got on the gravy train as soon as they discovered the fabulous welfare benefits put in place by ... the socialists.
And they often have more than one wife, and many children also drawing benefits and “chain migration” like that set up by Uncle Teddy here in 1965 in the first immigration sell-out, and then again by the comprehensive immigration reform act Simpson-Mazzoli, 1986, which resulted in entire Somali villages drawn and settled here, not so much by the promise of freedom as by the hope of living for free.
And they are hostile to the point of being recruited in their Minnesota hometowns for jihad overseas, just as the 3rd world parasites resent their Euro hosts.

I do remember a lot of the moms getting part time jobs when Carter was in. Yes... inflation and taxes. That is what is “eliminating” and reducing American family size. I know this cute, young couple.. SJ. Their little one is just over a year now. I asked (brazenly) if little Thomas will ever be getting a little brother or sister? (yeah.. I know... I’m that type of person). They said, “We would really love to have at least one more but right now with the mortgage, daycare, food, insurance... we don’t have much left”. The wife told me that she would love at least 3 kids but...” and left it at that.
What infuriates me about JB and this article is how it basically says “American” folks don’t like kids, they don’t like families, they aren’t family oriented. BUT MEXICANS do! Arghhhhh!

Call your Senators and Congressional reps and tell them that you want legislation to end sanctuary towns, cities and states, and if the places refuse to overturn their sanctuary policies, then not one dime of Federal money for anything.

Also demand a wall be physically built at the Mexican border.

Most Middle/Upper Class Americans wait until they have stable careers and relationships before having kids.
This means they are often in their late 20’s to early 30’s before they even consider having kids.
The rest just have kids and send the bill to the above.

Detroit’s got a bunch of blacks sitting around without jobs... If ‘warm bodies’ is all that’s needed - we can pay blacks to have children.
