“Then they stopped singing... Have the vinyl of both albums but not sure if Abbey Road or Let It Be.”
I wouldn’t know. I am not a Beatles fan.....well, maybe only three songs by them that I could say that I like.
“Yesterday”
“Something”
and maybe “Hey, Jude”

The strange thing was, I was reading about them today, or I might not have recalled it.
My father- no kidding, the big Sinatra fan- liked "Hey Jude" and used to make me play the whole song over and over again. I kinda got tired of it after while, but he didn't. My favorite Beatles song: The Long and Winding Road...

Well recently Kanye covered an old Queen hit
I am fairly sure that is considered a felony in most of the civilized nations of the world... (and even in New Jersey...)
Just sayin'...

I read the whole thread and my favorites are not there.
Favorite jailbait song - loved it when I WAS jailbait, heh heh. I think it’s Boz Scaggs: “Georgia.”
“Moonlight through the piiiiines.... But oh, oh, oh, how were we to know, that wasn’t moonlight, they were searchlights, oh nooooo... Georgia we will be together, dear, if they ever let me out of here...”
A great on the lam song: Christopher Cross’s “Ride Like The Wind.
“It is the night, My body’s weak,
I’m on the run, No time to sleep,
I’ve got to ride, ride like the wind, to be free again...
“And I’ve got such a long way to go
To make it to the horder of Mexico
So I ride like the wind, ride like the wind.”

I will have to look up the song.
But it is reminiscent of the old joke of the man who left his job each day for 20 years pushing a wheelbarrow full of sawdust.
Punch line was:
"what was I stealin' all those years??
dern fool, I was stealin wheelbarrows"
