Donald Trumps outrageous comments about Mexican immigrants in his announcement speech two weeks ago should have been an occasion for conservatives to say that we have no room for bigots in our midst. Instead, a host of conservatives, from Ted Cruz to National Reviews own Rich Lowry, have defended his message, if not the crude way he expressed it:

Would someone please tell us what Trump said that wrong. He spoke the truth, just ask the Border Patrol. Nowhere was it said that ALL the illegals were murderers, rapists, or drug runners, just that there were those coming over. And, by the way how many of those illegals are educated enough to be of interest to America. They come here for one reason. They want the money, they will nor assimilate, they take the money send it to Mexico where it ends up either funding more illegals or with the officials.
Apparently we now live in a country where the truth equals hate speech.

Unadulterated truth often sounds harsh. When one is speaking truth to a playground or media bully, it is sometimes difficult to sugar coat that truth. The bully's victims--here all loyal Americans--just kind of appreciate it, when that truth is spoken. The bully's girlfriends & masochistic "boy friends," even in the RNC, just do not understand.

Agreed. Trump is no conservative. Trump is
all about Trump and will turn on conservatism
at the earliest opportunity. When he took off
on the immigration issue I predicted that
fingers would be pointing right back at Trump.
He owns a golf course in LA and various hotels
and he has no illegal aliens on his payrolls?
Those who choose to hitch on to his star deserve
what they get

People come in illegally. They leave their own country because it is crap. After a period of time when there are enough of these people here this country becomes - CRAP.

This report tries to discredit Trump, and is publish all over the world in Spanish.
They do not have this report in Spanish yet, but it's all over Latin America papers in Spanish
La Prensa is from Honduras.
The target is Trump, they are trying to show he is a liar.
"Estudio desmonta con cifras las tesis racistas de Donald Trump"
Study dismantled the racists figures of Donald Trump
Unision said that " Immigrants commit fewer crimes than native-born," but they do not
show the difference between legal and illegal immigrants, here is the intention against what Trump said.
I believe this is some kind of front for progressives or socialists.
Also today another front talking about all immigrants from Mexico when Trump spoke about illegals.

Donald Trump is an obnoxious reality TV star with ridiculous hair. But he has exposed the RINO establishment as the crapweasels they are. None will be left standing after he's done, with the exception, perhaps, of Ted Cruz.
And for that, I say, "Viva The Donald!"

In case you haven't been paying attention, no one here is loving the idea of Trump being president and I Don't see anyone "hitching their wagon" to the guy. We are also aware that the Valerie Jarrett faction is teeing up as we speak to go after Trump for hiring illegals at his casinos. Same thing happened in AZ in the governors race...anyone who is running a business in the US will, at some point, be found guilty of hiring illegals because they present fraudulent documents in order to get hired. (Same as the current occupant of the White House.)
So you're not saying anything that people here do not already know.
We are simply cheering on the spectacle and watching the traitors in the GOP cower under the exposure. It has certainly separated the wheat from the chaff in very short order.

"Mexican immigrants should be welcomed." Uh, you're missing a word there miss. I'm almost sure that what we're discussing is illegal mexican immigrants.
There is a difference, but you know that.

Donald Trumps outrageous comments about Mexican immigrants
I saw and heard the interview and the comments and there was nothing about immigrants being discussed and Donalds replies were about illegal aliens, not legal immigrants.

Just repeat back what the Obama Administration said about Latina girls being raped. Up to 80% are being sexually assaulted, and that we had to accept them as victims....But the lucky corollary is that none of the Latino men sneaking into the US have perpetrated those rapes! So 80% of the girls are rape victims, but thank Heaven that none of the illegal alien men sneaking into the US are rapists. (This is why I laugh, - liberal FK-Head math never adds up!)
(Why this is stuck in my memory was the appalling figure of 80%, and I said at the time, we should be sending an army down there to prevent this. Perhaps Obama lies about the rapes to get what he wants politically, but then I thought, ‘the President would never lie, never!’)

Its ILLEGAL immigrants he/we are talking about
Also incorrect. It's illegal aliens we're talking about. Immigrants are those in process of entering our country legally, applying appropriately. If they are in this country illegally they are not immigrants but illegal aliens. It is this group of people who are causing the increase in crime including rapes, murder, drugs and human trafficers

you are correct. The funny thing is, I was arguing about the slimy word games the libs play, that changes the debate, and I fell into their trap. Well, partially anyway. I got the illegal part correct!
