Global Reset Soon? (last 24 hours recap)
07/08/15

Global Reset Soon?

Let's recap the anomalies in the the last 24 hours.

1) Pope calls for one world government.

2) Chinese stock trading halted.

3) U.S. stock exchange halted.

4) Banks closed in Greece.

5) US mint suspends sale of American Eagle coins.

6) United Airlines flights grounded.

7) Web sites like Wall Street Journal (financial web site) and Zerohedge (financial web site) shut down.

8) Possible Cyber Attack?

Feel free to add to the list.

Can we connect the dots, or is this just a coincidence?

There is a little too much tin foil being passed around today..
The “cyber attack” thing, its normal for the “pac-rim” to be launching attacks against the U.S., most of the “cyber attack sites” don’t have anywhere NEAR the bandwidth it would take nor the resources to accurately model and report an attack. No two ways about it. They are just showing some connections they can pick up and report that.
The NYSE was a “glitch” for layman’s terms, the NYSE will probably be releasing a more detailed report of what happened later in the day (Google, Amazon, E-bay; they all release these reports when an outage occur’s, you just need to know where to look for them).
China is screwed, no doubt about it there and all we can do over here is observe and try and prepare.

These events happen alllll the time, we just have information at our fingertips these days so they “seem” inter-connected. My company had a nasty DB outage that kept a lot of us up all night fixing it. If we told you our databases we’re down, you could add that to your list as well. Only, our DB’s went down after poorly configured LUN(s) that were discovered as part of a scheduled reboot. Not tied to any cyber attack or conspiracy.

Absolutely connected. The country experienced a cyber attack today. Don’t buy any of this “Nothing to see here, move along”.

To suggest otherwise is the equivalent of believing, on the day it happened, that two planes crashing into the two towers was just an amazing coincidence.

i.e. it’s dumb.

I’m not predicting ‘the end of the world’ at all.

I’m predicting another cycle. We’ve gone through them before and we’ll continue going through them. Times get rough... things get better... things fall apart again...

The thing is, we never really recovered from 2007-08. We’ve got an entire generation working part-time. We’ve got a massive “Boomer Bubble” of elderly and retirees just taking off. We’ve got more people on welfare than ever before. We’ve got more fatherless children and single mothers than ever before.

When you factor in the coming solar cycle... Nature is going to kick our butts hard - and soon.

So when this downtrend cycle hits, it’s going to hit harder. We’re already on the ropes.

Is this the ‘end’?

Hardly.

We’ll adapt. That’s why we do.

But it’s

Spain and Italy will NOT follow Greece. With very good reason: they have the agricultural and industrial base to produce their way out of an economic crisis. Both Spain and Italy are major agricultural producers in Europe; Italy also has a substantial industrial base, and Spain has a growing industrial base, especially in the field of solar power (which is way more viable as a renewable energy source than wind power).

That's great, it starts with an earthquake
Birds and snakes, an aeroplane, Lenny Bruce is not afraid
Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn
World serves its own needs, don't misserve your own needs

Feed it up a knock, speed, grunt, no, strength, no
Ladder, structure clatter with fear of height, down height
Wire in a fire, represent the seven games
In a government for hire and a combat site

Left her, wasn't coming in a hurry with the furies
Breathing down your neck
Team by team, reporters baffled, trump, tethered crop
Look at that low plane, fine then

Uh oh, overflow, population, common group
But it'll do, save yourself, serve yourself
World serves its own needs, listen to your heart bleed
Tell me with the rapture and the reverent in the right, right
You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright light
Feeling pretty psyched

It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it
And I feel fine

Someone on a survival :) website said that’s St. Louis and they’re always hitting St. Louis, it’s a big hub for the US. I have to agree it looks more like St. Louis than Chicago to me.

Right click photo. Select 'View image info'. Name of pic will usually give you your answer.

What is certain, however, is that the trading outage is unusual, but not unique. In August 2013, the Nasdaq had a surprise afternoon shutdown that lasted for about three hours. That exchange in 1987 and 1994 had two separate occasions when it was shuttered after adventurous squirrels chewed power lines, flaming out trading until the power grid could be restarted.

This is my least favorite life
The one where you fly and I don’t
The kiss holds a million deceits
And a lifetime goes up in smoke

This is my least favorite you
Who floats far above earth and stone
The nights that I twist on the rack
Is the time that I feel most at home

We’re wandering in the shade
And the rustle of falling leaves
A bird on the edge of a blade
Lost now forever, my love, in a sweet memory

The station rolls away from the train
The blue pulls away from the sky
The whisper of two broken wings
May be they’re yours, maybe they’re mine

This is my least favorite life
The one where I am out of my mind
The one where you are just out of reach
The one where I stay and you fly

I am wandering in the shade
And the rustle of falling leaves
A bird on the edge of the blade
Lost now forever, my love, in a sweet memory
