Replace American Workers With Foreigners and Drive Down Wages
That’s a deal breaker Senator Cruz. Who the h@ll is advising you to take these Anti-American positions?
Doesn't know or doesn't care.
His support for foreign workers is obviously visceral.
Sen Cruz’ staff, repeat after me, “I’m not familiar with the details of the Disney case except to say, apparently even Disney ultimately recognized that wasn’t an appropriate use of H1-Bs, and of course, that’s not what I’m talking about.”
There’s your talking point. You’re welcome.
He is the best of the pack, but like all the others, he is for immigration increases. This country is being lost. I realize no one seems to be able to run for POTUS without pledging to increase immigration (I ignore Trump as he is either playing a game, or will be stopped by the open borders crowd).
Thank you, Ted for reminding why I wont vote for you. I like a lot of things you say but you are clearly “owned”. They all suck, the only hope is to let the whole sh!+ show collapse and rebuild it after the moron and sell out crowd has been thinned out.
The Disney case is not a situation of using H-1B to bring in "people who are educated and talented and creating jobs." The existing Disney workers were also educated and talented and had jobs.
H-1B should be restricted from being used for routine jobs, as Disney is doing. There is nothing special or unique about an H-1B worker filling a routine job.

Cruz is so full of shit on H1b’s that he should keep his mouth shut. If he doesn’t understand the abuses of the program, he doesn’t understand the program. He is advocating on behalf of big business. H1b’s lower the cost of employment and put Americans out of work. we should be putting Americans first, especially those with skilled labor, not fat cat big businesses who hate paying what people are worth.
He probably doesn’t know about Harley either. Cruz is a Sheckel shilling ass clown that road into the party backwards with a talking points list of every conservative issue. Don’t ask him details because he’s been handed his ideas by some crony capitalist who wants to bilk the American people for every dollar they can, ethics aside. This is typical of Texas politicians and why the state of Texas is up to its ten gallon hat in shady deals, cheap labor, and retard voters who look the other way and pull their favorite teams lever come voting time. I love Texas but I will never vote for its politicians on a national stage.
I KNOW Cruz is smart enough to know this is bad for American workers...the H-1B being just a vehicle to keep tech pay low.
Anyone who has actually seen the result, or studied up on it would agree.
So that leads me to believe Cruz has a very rich and powerful DONOR who wants an expansion of H-1B.
I guarantee that once the PACs and issue groups start announcing, we'll see some Silicon Valley connection to Cruz.
This, and TPA/TPP, keep me from being a Cruz supporter and has me convinced he intends to work for somebody's interests that are not mine.
He needs to seriously back off on this issue. I’ve written his campaign, sending him links to a couple FR threads that show how seriously pissed off FReepers are about his stand on this.
“every year US colleges and universities educate tens of thousands of foreign students who are getting masters and PhDs in engineering and math and computer science, and were sending them back to their countries”
That is a lie. We are NOT sending them back to their countries. They come here on student visas and then NEVER go back. They simply stay here illegally and nothing is ever done about it.
Folks the H-1B push is an Establishment/Globalist Position
Just like
1) Open Borders
2) Amnesty
3) Commie Core
4) Climate Change is Real
5) Rigid Trade Agreements (”Free Trade” Is A Deceitful Lie)
6) Ban the Confederate Flag
etc.....
The Establishment position.... ALWAYS WEAKENS the United States
Cruz should have his job taken away.
Cruz should have his job taken away.
Why I’m sitting out 2016.
Cruz was asked about Disneys use of H-1B visas to replace US workers who were forced to train their replacements, he stated that he didnt know the facts of the Disney case, so he couldnt comment.
To be honest with you, I do not believe that Cruz has not heard of the Disney case. If he's talking about the "legal write-up", then he should have said that. As it was, he made it sound like this is the first he's heard of it.
I was hoping that Ted would get it right the second time on this, as he attempted to do on the TPA, but apparently he's doubling down on this.
His talking points are pure GOP Establishment! Sounds like Romney.
