Thanks a lot. I was fairly pleased with While We Cry, did it by the old “ping pong” method, reel to reel to CD burner and back. Strat broke a string while tuning for the lead so I had to use the Peavey Patriot, not the guitar I wanted but it did ok, the Strat sounds better for that particular song though. Finished it about 3AM after recording all night. And did that one as an afterthought, never was actually on our list to record. I played the cassette while we took a break and we decided to do it.
Glad you liked the songs, some glitches here and there I know, but not bad for what I had to work with...Southern Cross surprised us all, we hadn’t even seen each other in 10 years except for a benefit we did for a former band member, now deceased. Got together to record on a whim, decided on Southern Cross. Went over it once with an acoustic just to be sure we all remembered it and started recording. It had some glitches, but I’m surprised it worked as well as it did with no practice at all...
