WASHINGTON (AP) Worried about "Republican on Republican violence," top party donors are taking action, with one firing off a letter calling for more civility and another seeking to block businessman Donald Trump from the debate stage altogether.
Foster Friess, a Wyoming-based investor and one of the party's top 20 donors in the last presidential contest, issued a letter to 16 White House prospects and the Republican National Committee late last week calling for candidates to stay on the "civility reservation."
"Our candidates will benefit if they all submit to Ronald Reagan's 11th Commandment, 'Thou shall not speak ill of a fellow Republican,'" Friess wrote in a copy of the letter sent to Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus and obtained by The Associated Press.

Thanks, Draggy.
You betcha!!
If Cam keeps his head, we have a good receiver core for him, defense intact, we should be Superbowl bound this year!!
I think America and Americans matter to Trump.
I know that as a tech worker I do not matter to Cruz. He prefers Indians over Americans.
PLEASE let it be so. It has to happen.
No it means that you have not studied the issues and results of each candidate. That is a pity and embarrassing for you.
Study the issues and examine each candidate? The issues are skewed, the candidates can't be trusted. The system is broken and government corruption, waste, destructive trade laws and open borders crippling America. America is out of time.
They never addressed the real issues in a straightforward honest manner which is the reason why Trump be getting all the attention. Some in D.C. and others in lofty places can't grasp this. It's what brought us to where we are.
This is not complex.
Then it would seem to me that the best option is pick someone who has not ever worked in DC a day in their life.
Never worked in D.C. is a major plus. The people running the show from D.C. have not a clue, and operate like an enemy, they can’t negotiate anything and instead of doing what’s in America’s best interest, we get betrayed and looted.
Someone who has not been contaminated by their epic corruption is a plus. Btw, this guys life is public. Not too much not known about him.
Being a president is not rocket science and why a good leader will have a staff of top experts in everything, including top trade negotiators.
This is not complex.
“America is out of time.”
I don’t think who we vote for will matter that much anymore. Our debt is unsustainable.
We will be Greece shortly.
I tend agree...Out of time.
A good chance the party will probably go with Bush and we’ll carry on the dynasty. Then wait for the bottom to collapse under it’s own weight.
“A good chance the party will probably go with Bush ...”
That would be horrendous! Political suicide. But not uncommon for the GOP.
