I read that we have very little exposure to Greece, and even the Eurowheenies should survive it. The Greeks should be cannibalizing each other by next week though.

Gold +$7 ,,, debt is the key ... it far outweighs equities.. the euroweenies will cave to avoid a crash... but the smart money knows how the story ends..

What's old is new again. They'll be using 100 billion drachma notes for fish wrap.

Greece is survivable to the European Central Bank. But the other “PIIGS”— especially Italy and Spain are looking at what happens next. They will want at least as good a deal. So this is only the end of the beginning.

If Louisiana was an independent country, its GDP would be larger than that of Greece. I don't think anyone who isn't Greek or doesn't have friends/family there is terribly concerned about whether Greece even exists tomorrow morning.
The bigger issue may be whether other marginal European countries find the idea of ditching their debt appealing, too.

Yes, no real problem IF it doesn’t spread to places like portugal, italy, spain, etc. It’s already an issue in puerto rico, though.

If you think it is just Greece, please smell the coffee.
The PIIGS countries also includes Portugal, Italy, Ireland & Spain. I am sure you have seen how Dominoes fall.
