WP: The Americans are coming! Some in a Texas county fear an Obama-led U.S. military invasion.
Washington Post ^ | July 5th, 2015 | Kevin Sullivan

Posted on 07/05/2015 9:24:30 AM PDT by MadIsh32

The office of the Bastrop County Republican Party is in an old lumber mill on Main Street, with peeling brown paint and a sign out front that captures the party’s feelings about the Obama administration: “WISE UP AMERICA!”

Inside, county Chairman Albert Ellison pulled out a yellow legal pad on which he had handwritten page after page of reasons why many Texans distrust President Obama, including the fact that, “in the minds of some, he was raised by communists and mentored by terrorists.”

The US military belongs to Obama and his terrorist pals Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn?

On the bright side, women have a little less to worry about considering history and invading troops raping women, but I guess the guys might with our new military under Bath House Barry.

Does Waco ring a bell in your mind? This is Obama we are taking about here. He was brought up by communists and mentored by Ayers and Jeremiah Wright. The guy is evil, pure and simple. He has repeatedly shown he is capable of doing anything against the law.It will be very foolish for anyone to understimate his capacity for lawless acts.

“I’m laughing at you. Literally. Your posts are clearly the rantings of a buffoon. You have a reputation for juvenile outbursts, both online and in person. “

One of the lamest attempts at an insult. “I know you are but what am I?!”

“Do you expect the men and women of our armed forces to do anything nefarious on US citizens?

Again, its disrespectful to our troops”

You mean like when they’ve been asked if they’d fire on U.S. citizens?

http://www.teaparty.org/obama-asks-military-leaders-if-they-will-fire-on-us-citizens-19039/

(excerpt)

2009 Nobel Peace Prize nominee Jim Garrow shockingly claims he was told by a top military veteran that the Obama administration’s “litmus test” for new military leaders is whether or not they will obey an order to fire on U.S. citizens.

(Republican) “county Chairman Albert Ellison pulled out a yellow legal pad on which he had handwritten page after page....”

Look at Albert’s picture in the article. It’s Dale Gribble!

If about 25 conservative FReepers moved to Loving County, TX they would dominate elections locally. They could seriously abolish all county government.

I think the US military should just completely pull out of Texas and take the hundreds of thousands of jobs it has there with it.

Sure, but if all the Texans pulled out of the U.S. military, they'd have those hundreds of thousands of jobs back.

Do you expect the men and women of our armed forces to do anything nefarious on US citizens?

You can think whatever you want.

The people of this country have every right to be concerned about domestic military exercises under THIS president.

Especially considering the fact that he's systematically purged the flag officer corps of all patriots and those whose first allegiance is to the Constitution.

My dad and both husbands were military members-the military members here, for the most part would rather stay in Texas than anywhere in liberal lala land, and would gladly give those places a stiff middle finger.

That said, when discussing the abuse of armed enforcement, most of us in Texas remember Bill Clinton, Janet Reno and a place called “Waco”, where a bunch of “dangerous” women and kids were killed...

Since there appears to be some disagreement, I have posted the following IQ scale. I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that perhaps he's just an imbecile or that perhaps his remark was not well thought out.

Intelligence Quotient Scale:

Moron = 50-69

Imbecile = 30-49

Idiot = 29 & below

More from the article:

Here in the soft, green farmlands east of Austin, some say the answer is simple: “The truth is, this stems a fair amount from the fact that we have a black president,” said Terry Orr, who was Bastrop’s mayor from 2008 to 2014.

How sure are you that’s it’s still your army? Obama has been gutting it and forcing policy change.

I’m not saying I agree with the post, but I would be careful of who I trust.

You are correct, sir-I think here in Texas, we the people have seen enough trampling and abuse from several governments over the last 200 years or so to make us doubly mistrustful and cautious of any oppression by any government-even our own...

It’s not the military that they are afraid of...it’s the commander in chief.

Please tell me nobody sane believes this.

Do you believe Obama started his political career in the living room of a man who wrote a book dedicated to all the men in prison who were there for killing a police officer?

The little sh*t even listed the cop killers
BY NAME so each would be glorified. He also called for the murder of hundreds of thousands of Americans. The name of the book was “Prairie Fire”. And NO, he wasn't just a guy in the neighborhood. He was and is a friend of Obama. Lives a few blocks from the Obama's in Hyde Park in Chicago. He was the man who ghost wrote Obama’s ‘Dreams’. Look him up.

Then again, governments don't kill their own citizens, do they? Oh wait - they do. More people have been killed by their own governments in the last hundred years than by wars... ALL the wars in the last hundred years...

Attacking someone and then saying have a nice day is anal retentive and passive aggressive.

Try to be more like me and Code Toad and just attack and then let it lay out there and throb. :-).

Some people here have good reason to be concerned. One only has to look at the deviousness, the lieing, cheating of this government. The laws and presidential directives & orders that he’s churned out. Hell, I too don’t trust our government. So I watch and listen carefully to see what’s going to happen. Some of the people are wrapped up in a panic over JH15 are some nut cases. Some are talkin this alien space invasion shit. My goodness! That’s the kind of stuff I don’t like and it makes Texans and Texas look ignorant & backwards.
