Also late that year Libya agreed to end its WMD programs. Muammar Gaddafi's son said when his father watched Saddam being pulled out of his spider hole by U.S. troops on TV he decided it was time to normalize relations with the West.
That tactic did not work well for Gaddafi.
The military develops weapons for a specific use to stop nuclear proliferation in the hands of maniacs. However, our own maniac here will never allow them to be used.
Everyone knows those weapons are for Israel. For use, not for sale.
Well, Gaddafi didn't realized he was dealing with people, the WH, State Dept, (Hillary and Obama) who were even more devious and evil then he was...
Probably for use against Tea Party, Christian “Dominionists,” homeschoolers, preppers, anti-homosexual marriage and confederate flag & gun dealers. Barack Obama would never bomb one of the 57 Islamic states.
What an obviously planted NON story. The only thing of note is that Odinga let the LA and not the NY Times run with it.
That number is small potatoes as defense spending goes. I’m guessing they spend more on canteens or flag officer’s chefs in a month.
That illegal alien in the White Hut hasn't got the balls.
Most likely the bunker busters will be given to the Mullahs so Obama can claim his historic deal with Iran
Another feel good weapon. But like all technology, one that will have unintended consequences. Strategic Bombing doesn’t work. A well known but often denied fact. The Strategic Bombing Survey in WWII was kept secret because it showed that bombing doesn’t work. The average Nazi factory was back up producing war materiel two days after an air strike. The operating engineers just went into overdrive doing what they usually do at an ordinary pace, constantly repairing, manufacturing the factory itself. But it makes our side feel good, like we’re doing something. Interestingly, nuclear bombing is the only thing that works. It gives pariah nations their raison d’etre, their reason to exist. If they can attain the ability to threaten other governments with destruction, even at the risk of their own survival, then they really must exist and have escaped the ultimate futility of having to be ignored. Thus the last, poorest nation on earth, some remote garbage dump piece of land, has to have as its primary national focus, acquisition of the Doomsday Switch by which it can proclaim to the world “we’re here”.
It’s a little late for President Wimpy to start sabre rattling.
Well, if they used them today, it’d be the best 4th fireworks display in a while.
No matter, as Bubba also said publicly that there was nothing wrong with Tubba Klinton's "moral compass". Coming from the "is is" and impeached President is certainly a seal of approval (of sorts).
Oh, well, the voters did decide twice - and Hope and Change has given unemployment statistics (lies, damed lies, and statistics -"How to Lie with Statistics" by Darrell Huff) a wonderful name as in "cooking the books".
They are more likely to be used by the Waco PD against biker bars than by Obama against muslims.
We can spray them along the Mexican border to collapse tunnels.
" U.S. stockpiles powerful bunker-buster bombs in case Iran nuclear talks fail"............
So when did we begin this stockpiling?
In the defense procurement process, when did we order these munitions and on what delivery schedule?
Have we stockpiled them because Obama refused to send them to Israel, who requested and bought them?
What are our normal stock levels of the bombs and what is our ramp up time to what levels in manufacturing should larger quantities be needed?
and “deal” this mooselimb poser gets with Iran will only screw us and the world.
Bunker busting bombs?
HOw about nuking iran?
BlackVeil “That tactic did not work well for Gaddafi.”
True, but that’s more due to the double dealing of the US government, the Obama mal-administration in particular, rather than a desire of Gaddafi to cooperate in the face of force.
