The flags of the Confederacy that flew high over Fort Sumter, the site where the first shots of the Civil War were fired, have been taken down from the historic site.
The decision to remove the flags came from a directive by National Park Service Director Jonathan Jarvis in Washington, D.C. which reads: "Confederate flags shall not be flown in units of the National Park system and related sites with the exception of specific circumstances where the flags provide historic context. ... All superintendents and program managers should evaluate how Confederate flags are used ... and remove the flags where appropriate." If it is any comfort, they aren’t teaching anyone much of anything. Many of my children’s friends are Hispanic or Arab, and I’m surprised to hear the same racist/sexist jokes that were making the rounds thirty years ago. These foreigners didn’t come here to buy into the progressive agenda (and my wife is one of them).

Everyone opposed to the flag is assuming they can read minds, and if they truly could, there would be no flag flap.
Next thing you will hear, though it may take a few years, is that Fort Sumter is nixed.
Jonathan Jarvis is a good little Commie.
He does whatever ValJar tells him to.
With our property.
What next? Bubba Watson covering the rebel flag on the General Lee?
Okay, Swamsniper et al— what’s going on in St. Augustine at the oldest fort in America which was Spanish colonial, and under many flags including the CSA?
No word yet.
If Roof had posed with a fag flag, the Charleston shootings would just have been a footnote. "Move along, nothing to see here."
Well the Confederate flag will be flying at our house tomorrow. Right next to the Gadsden. We are kind of hoping ISIS stops by so we can play Rebels and Jihadi’s. :-)
