Yet another rejection of constitutional principles by the Supreme Court has been overlooked in the furor over the pro-Obamacare and same-sex marriage decisions.
This time, its not what the justices said, but what they refused to say that is noteworthy.
Reuters reports that the high courts refusal to hear an appeal of the decision in the case of Kobach, et al. v. Election Assistance Commission, et al, had the effect of upholding the ruling handed down last November by the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.

That would make it too easy to stop. We could get someone to infiltrate them and pass the word to the militia when and where to expect the busloads. IED time; repeat as necessary.
Simply outrageous!
Government is parasitic. Parasites reproduce and spread without concern that the host may die as a result.

It took patriots forever to wise up to the fact that Boehner is a RINO. But It took remarkably less time for patriots to likewise wise up the the idea that McConnell is a RINO.
And patriots wised up to major Supreme Court corruption in the same week that the Court wrongly legalized constitutionally unprotected Obamacare insurence and gay marriage from the bench. So there is hope imo.
From my perspective patriots are fire fighters, not fire preventers. So now that patriots have a rearing fire to put out, lets see how they peacefully get activist justices off of the bench.
The ill-conceived 17th Amendment needs to disappear, along with corrupt senators and activist justices.
Insane.
Did you see the Couric v. Cruz interview?
At one point Katie asked Ted, 'Don't you see the Constitution as a living document?'. She obviously believes that.
Cruz said NO.
Incredible!
Living, it is a man-eating monster. What they mean by living is “mutating into whatever liberals want it to be rather than what the authors declared it to be.”
I get that, but if we hold a party and no one comes? That’s the problem I see.
This is far more destructive than the gay marriage ruling. It allows foreign citizens to help decide American elections.
The Supreme Court issued its worst ruling yet this year.
Both are pretty bad. This one is not getting the attention it deserves though.
Perhaps republican states could offer a crime-stoppers bounty on illegal voters. Call in information on an illegal who registered to vote, and the state pays you a reward. It would be worth a whole lot to America to get rid of those criminals, and most laws allow monetary fines along with prison time for serious crimes. The fines to the criminal could easily cover the rewards to decent Americans.
I don't know about you but this time I am going to get really, really mad.
Possible solution: lets send them absentee ballots so they can vote from their own countries; without having to come here, in order to prevent overcrowding here in the USA. /s
Wasn't this decision based on the Clinton era Motor voter bill? Was it incorrect?
I recall reading someplace, here maybe, that states have a path around this.
That usually most local elections are the same day as federal elections (which are every 2 years) and that they can be required to provide those documents under state law for the state voter registration form.

Then we no longer deserve to have a country. If it's not worth fighting for, it's not worth having.
Here is a rant I wrote this AM:
Vanity: Random thoughts on July 3, 2015
What has happened to our society when a tiny minority of outspoken folks can mess with our language and redefine words at will? Furthermore, what will happen to the word of law?
1) First, there was the definition of “is. Remember that? Depends upon what the meaning of is is. A convoluted excuse, if I ever heard one.
2) Even before that, there was the word gay, which (over a generation) morphed from a happy word with pleasant, cheerful connotations to one that means homosexual, with all the negatives associated. Gay used to be even used as a name for both girls and boys. (ref. the author Gay Talese and my female cousin who is about 50 yrs. old)
3) According to my Congressman this week, the word majority actually means 10 votes over the majority, or it doesnt count. He says that there is a little known rule in the Senate that allows only ONE VOTE PER YEAR to pass out of the Senate with only 51 votes. Where is that in the Constitution? So, a majority of 100 votes means 60 votes now always.
4) SCOTUS is confused about the word State. According to them it now means Federal.
5) SCOTUS also did cartwheels defining the word tax in order to support Obama who doesnt even know what natural born citizen means.
6) Furthermore, SCOTUS refuses to define how “citizenship” relates to to the right to vote. What did our founding Fathers mean when they wrote and ratified the constitution?
7) And now marriage no longer is a union/contract between man and woman despite thousands of years of custom.
Anyone who says this doesnt matter isnt foreseeing the ramifications. How can the legislative body of the US (or anywhere) possibly write laws when any vociferous minority group can change the meaning of the words at will. No wonder my Congressman (an attorney) looks stressed.
End of rant.
....”The Supreme Court has been bought and paid for....It has been Satanized By the Lawless One”.....
Appears to be so all across the World Stage when you consider the overall condition of the World currently. But I must also say that it’s also ‘God allowing’ mans efforts to come to their ultimate end as well....in this the USA must become weaker for the European and Islamic nations to be positioned....as well as Russia and China.
Fascinating to watch.....
> ....The Supreme Court has been bought and paid for....It has been Satanized By the Lawless One.....
And it will be sanitized by the Lawful One...
