"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton |

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams |

Sigh
Ted, they’re illegal aliens not immigrants...
stop calling them immigrants
what they do to enter our country illegally and stay here illegally has nothing to do with immigration...
no part of their progress after going through our borders illegally is remotely connected to immigration..
don’t let their enablers continue to cloud the issue and make the rules and nomenclature..

Great ‘Gotcha Answer’!
Wonder how Ted will handle Hillary when she plays victim to all his slam-sunk debate points; and you know she will.

Congrats to Ted. But that was way too easy. Ted needs a bigger ball park. And higher fences.
On Cruz control till Jan 20, 2017.

Doesn't this boil down to the meaning of "rule of law?" Taken literally, this means Cruz finds homo marriage acceptable (see rule of law), affirmative action to be okay (rule of law again), federally-mandated methods and standards for public education (see rule of law), and so on, and so forth.
And if Congress or SCOTUS, or even the executive grants amnesty to those who entered the country illegally, isn't that too, according to "the rule of law?"
As long as "whatever it is" gets stamped with "rule of law," it's acceptable? Is that the standard? I think not. Cruz better watch out, because that "rule of law" cudgel swings in wild directions.

This is why I want Ted Cruz to be the Republican Presidential nominee. He would slice and dice Hillary Clinton’s arguments to pieces in a Presidential debate like a really good short-order cook does to vegetables....

I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: this crop of young guns we have running - especially Cruz - are the most media-savvy conservatives I’ve ever seen. They don’t try to be liked by the media, they don’t simply complain about media bias and then take the pounding. They engage the scum at their own game, and do it better than them. Cruz is like a fencing master, using every line of attack for a counter-thrust of his own.

We should craft a new immigration law that duplicates the one in Mexico. It is much more restrictive and has penalties that no liberal would believe possible. And they enforce their law very strictly.
How would the liberals counter a law that is the same as our neighbor’s when it comes to regulating immigration?
