Does President Obama even want to defeat ISIS? If so, why is the United States blocking shipments of heavy armaments to the Kurds? They should be our best friends in the Muslim world and have demonstrated their capacity as excellent fighters with boots on the ground in fighting ISIS. Which, not so incidentally, wants to kill their men and make sex slaves of their women.

The United States has blocked attempts by its Middle East allies to fly heavy weapons directly to the Kurds fighting Islamic State jihadists in Iraq, The Telegraph has learnt.
Some of America’s closest allies say President Barack Obama and other Western leaders, including David Cameron, are failing to show strategic leadership over the world’s gravest security crisis for decades.
They now say they are willing to “go it alone” in supplying heavy weapons to the Kurds, even if means defying the Iraqi authorities and their American backers, who demand all weapons be channelled through Baghdad.
High level officials from Gulf and other states have told this newspaper that all attempts to persuade Mr Obama of the need to arm the Kurds directly as part of more vigorous plans to take on Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) have failed. The Senate voted down one attempt by supporters of the Kurdish cause last month.
The officials say they are looking at new ways to take the fight to Isil without seeking US approval.
I am expecting that Hillary will have nothing to say about this, and in fact won't even be asked. But it is insane, unless Obama's plan is something other than what he claims.

The Kurdish Peshmerga have proven themselves to be true warriors who don't wilt under fire, compared to the cowardly Iraqis.
Unfortunately the Turks have the final say about what happens to the Kurds.
Meaning Baghdad wants their cut in cash. They certainly don't need the weapons since the Iraqi army just drops them and flees at the first sign of resistance.
If the Kurds are LGBT ,Obama would send Air Force One loaded to the gills
To Egypt, Israel and the Kurds, the White Mosque says,
“DIE like Americans will do. Long live Cuba and Iran.”
I bet Turkey has a hand in this......................

Obama is afraid the Kurds would create more Chaos in the Mid East. They would be center stage, and that would not make Iraq, Iran and Turkey happy since they all have Kurds in their borders and fear an uprising if the Kurds are given heavy weapons. The key is control of the Kurds. Of course the Kurds see it differently, its their chance to have complete autonomy as Kurdistan. Its bad because no mater how you deal with it, you are still juggling with bombs.

Not only “no”, but “HELL no!”
Nor is the Current Occupant concerned whether it may cause “more chaos” in the Middle East to arm the Kurds. He despises the Kurds (anti-ISIS Sunni Muslims, some Shi’ite, some Alawites, and the Yezidi sect) as much as he hates the very concept of Israel. Also, the Kurds do not, for the most part, harass or persecute Christians or Jews living in their districts. That in and of itself is enough to sent the Current Occupant into a storming black rage, which probably happens a lot more often than most of us imagine.
“Hate crimes” are not correctly defined. This is a walking “hate crime” that is reiterated every day.
Obama is on the side of ISIS/ISIL or whatever they are this week.
It’s easier and ALWAYS correct to say he’s against the US
