On Thursday Serta became the latest company to announce it was ending its business relationship with celebrity plutocrat Donald Trump following his remarks on Mexican immigrants.
“Serta values diversity and does not agree with nor endorse the recent statements made by Mr. Trump,” the company said in a statement, declaring that it would not renew its contract with Trump at the end of the year.

In a perverse way, with that SC decision barring unintentional discrimination (ie subconscious thought crime?) I almost can't wait for enterprising folks start setting up a group homes for illegals on parole in their gated communities.
This whole thing is amazingly silly. Trump likes to boast. He is a rich, Alpha male who can and never will be wrong in his mind. He made a statement about a race and pi$$ed off people. These companies just don’t want his name tied to them. If someone in my company makes a statement like he did, my company would fire them. That’s all that happened.
Donald is trying to be a politician and a business man. It’s difficult to do both. When he speaks out like this, there will be reprocussions. If he was just a politician, people could call him out personally. Since he is a businessman, people are going to call out his business and try to hurt his pocketbook.
I find it funny. Donald is a goofy man and I look forward to every time he opens his mouth. He reminds me of Gene Simmons of Kiss. Put his name on anything and say anything for shock value.
