If it had not been for the bravery of her fiancé, Saera Wilson may have been one of the more than 70 victims of an attack on a hotel in Tunisia.
As the Daily Mail reports, 37 people were killed and 36 wounded when extremists attacked a resort area in Sousse, opening fire at a beach near the Bellevue Hotel.
Wilson was on vacation with her fiancé, Matthew James, and the two were sunbathing when the shooting began.
Wilson says that James put his body between her and the gunmen, shielding her from harm while taking three bullets in the stomach. Even while injured and bleeding, James told Wilson to run for it.
He told me: I love you babe. But just go tell our children that their daddy loves them, Wilson said.
Wilson and James have two children, six-year-old, Tegan, and 14-month-old, Kaden, whom they had left with family in Wales during their break in Tunisia.

OK, I’ll bite: what in the world makes you think Tunisia is an “adult place?” Just when I think that your posts couldn’t get dumber, you exceed expectations.
Why are you shrieking about this? I’d bet 100% of FReepers agree that this couple should have married and then had kids. ALL of us.
But we don’t find that the headline of the story here.
You sure don;t get around much, do you? Do some research on Tunisia!!! It’s not hard to do.
I didn’t notice any mention of God in the article so I will assume the couple is non-religious. If that be the case why would they care about what someone else’s God thinks? Maybe they are religious and had a religious ceremony but not an ‘official’ state one....you know, a ‘license’ for the privilege of a close association. Again, the article doesn’t say. They are from Wales which has become, along with Britain, a welfare state so their marital status with kids is of no consequence in that system. Facts are, they have been together at least 6 years with kid(s) and he took 3 bullets for her. And some people here are only concerned about some stinkin’ piece of paper which conveys some sort of ‘official’ status.
The last time I was in Tunisia I was a young teen. And a sheikh offered the man beside me many, many camels for me. So, see? It is a great place for children. (True story and the man was only an acquaintance but didn’t take the deal, luckily for me)
No....sadly, FR is NOT the place of morality in todays Freepers that once existed. It’s a sad place now.
So what is that we get a country and a culture on the skids like we are seeing all around us even today.
Their being married or not has nothing to do with the shooting, or his brave and loving behavior during same.
If he HAD been married to her he would have acted no differently. The point is he didn't have the heart, conscience or faith in God (or his own love) to marry her before he started making babies in her.
OMG....you are a sick puppy.
I travel extensively in MENA, and I have been to Tunisia many times. Perhaps you are the one whom should do some research. You will, of course, have to stop shrieking like a harpy long enough to crack a book.
I’m saying that if he HAD married her 7 years ago, they most likely would NOT have been on a TUNISIA beach....they would be doing a FAMILY vacation someplace......NOT in TUNIS!!! my GOD...what has happened to Freepers????
dinodino.....all of our travelling does NOT make us smart....but following CHRIST makes us wise.
+1
They are not even from the US.....They are from Wales.
Well, you might want to start, because you’re sure not exhibiting any wisdom here today. I’d love to go back through your posts and see if you were shrieking about unmarried parents on 9/11/2001.
Look dinodino.....you and the other FReepers can poke as much fun at me as you want to....I'm not changing my morals or mind about whats right and whats wrong. Go ahead....kick me....I really don't care. FR does NOT have the mroal underpinning that it used to have in it's new Freepers.
Several posters, including myself, have already stated that we agree with you on marriage in general, and that our dispute is with your suggestion that victims of terror are such because they are unmarried.
I hate to say it, but I will: you sound shrill, hysterical, and unfathomably thick. I’m surprised that you are able to operate a computer.
He’s a good man...
As I said.....FR is not the moral, high minded thinking place it once was. Just like everything else....
