If it had not been for the bravery of her fiancé, Saera Wilson may have been one of the more than 70 victims of an attack on a hotel in Tunisia.
As the Daily Mail reports, 37 people were killed and 36 wounded when extremists attacked a resort area in Sousse, opening fire at a beach near the Bellevue Hotel.
Wilson was on vacation with her fiancé, Matthew James, and the two were sunbathing when the shooting began.
Wilson says that James put his body between her and the gunmen, shielding her from harm while taking three bullets in the stomach. Even while injured and bleeding, James told Wilson to run for it.
He told me: I love you babe. But just go tell our children that their daddy loves them, Wilson said.
Wilson and James have two children, six-year-old, Tegan, and 14-month-old, Kaden, whom they had left with family in Wales during their break in Tunisia.

So now you're channeling God........How do you know that wasn't God's plan for the couple?
Oh wait, you know what God wants............
Messed up priorities to be sure.
If we were talking about the social issue of people procreating without marriage, which is by far the majority of young people in Europe, your comments would fit.
But when we are talking about a tourist location being shot up by terrorists, at that point, it doesn’t matter. The guy with the gun did not ask if they were married. This is about a terrorist attack. No one cared which people killed on 9/11 were living in sin.
I'm guessing that many people have this in their families.....I do in mine, and I have let them know it isn't the right thing to do.
I agree with you, too, Ann, but perhaps you need to turn down the “yelling” a bit, GF.
Believe me, I understand your frustration with the cultural/moral rot the West is collapsing under.
Having kids out of wedlock is commonplace in Europe.
I'll have to grant you a certain unhappiness with the timing, to be sure, which I suspect two bullets to the belly won't move along very much. But I think they're on the road to the right thing, and yelling at them for not moving fast enough won't help. If I'm wrong and they don't marry I'll happily apologize.
You are an idiot also......he SHOUKLD have married her 7 years ago.....that;s what DECENT people USED to do.
Since you apparently don’t have a volume control, I’m hoping you have an off switch. You are wrong, you know it, and when called out you only shriek louder.
I guess FR has passed me by......
Yipes! I’ll bet you are right about the benefits. Sad, huh?
No...I am not wrong....or maybe you think THOUSANDS of YEARS of CHRISTIANITY is wrong......do you???
LOL! We love you anyway. :-p
Sorry.. I don’t love you.....you don’t know the difference between right from wrong. Be happy.
Well, you are apparently both loud and stupid.
I’ve already told you I didn’t disagree with your position WRT marriage, but that you were wrong in suggesting that these folks were attacked as a consequence of their unmarried status.
Oh, but I do. And I am happy, thank you, and I wish the same to you.
Now you’re calling me an idiot? Buy a softer toilet paper.
An article about victims of terrorism miraculously surviving and you are SCREAMING about their unmarried status. Either you fell asleep on a live episode of Murphy Brown thirty years ago, or your toilet paper has chafed you raw.
Yes, I did.....IF he had married the MOTHER of his TWO kids,,,,6 and a toddler, they PROBABLY would NOT have been a BEACH in TUNISIA......they would have been with their KIDS someplace else!! Tunisia is an ADULT place! And you talk about me not having left the country!! LOL!!
I know right from wrong.....maybe you should learn.
