(JTA) — American Jews are among the most supportive religious groups of same-sex marriage. Some 77 percent of American Jews expressed support for same-sex marriage, according to data gathered in 2014 by the Public Religion Research Institute. Some 47 percent of American Jews polled said they “strongly favor” allowing gay and lesbian couples to marry legally, and 30 percent said they “favor” it.

more than once the Bible calls them “a stiff necked people” , always going against God. They have reaped the whirlwind for it too. Now America wants some of that wrath.
Why does it matter? The vast majority of Jews in the US vote Democrat. I do believe the vast majority of Jews in most/all Western countries vote for left wing parties.
Can we stop pretending this voting demographic is winnable? Obama has completely thrown Israel overboard and given the chance, Jews would vote for him overwhelmingly a 3rd time - and they WILL be voting for Hillary Clinton.

Liberal Jews hate Christians, anything we are for...they are against.
I think many of us have observed that there’s much sickness in the American Jewish community, in its “secular” and “reform” aspeccts particularly. In the most basic terms, many of these folks appear to have abandoned... and some are even attacking... their faith heritage and traditions, teachings, etc. These people are commonly called either JINOs (Jews in name only) or, the attackers, JSSers (Jewish Suicide Syndrome people). You can find them in a number oc American colleges, where they attack Jewish faith, Israel, and Biblical values...
An Orghodox Jewish rabbi got chastised several years ago when, exasperated, he blurted out that such people ‘are not Jewish. anymore. The critiques were based on accumulated historical experience of what has happened to the Jewish people when they slip into internal fighting mode. There’s a strong effort in Judaism to try to keep things together whenever possible. But, the rabbi was correct, imho. At least from outside his frame of reference, it sure seems to make sense to so describe anyone who goes beyond fair criticism to active infliction of damage on his neighbors and community. Other words that at least come to mind are ‘lost sheep’ — traitors, enemies, you name it.
We see the same sort of thing in a number of ‘liberal Christian churches” where a modern secular anti-gospel is preached ... and more recognizably Christian or conservative or traditional Christians really don’t have any idea how to bring these ‘straying sheep’ back into a more recognizably Christian communion.
For both the Jewish and Christian believers forced to deal with others who still claim to be Jewish or Christian .. but who patently reject and often outright attack core Biblical faith teachings......................there is mostly just a frustration, and a feeling that a great tragedy is being played out, one mostly beyond their conotrol.
My personal spin on this is to try to understand... I CAN understand someone straying from his received Biblical faith....if only because the allure of secularism is always strong... and there are, if we be honest, some uninspiring priests, pastors, rabbis, etc. What I cannot yet understand is those people who turn around and attack their churches or Judeo-Christian communities of believers.. with almost a Satanic hostility. “Catholics” sponsoring subsidized abortion clinics, “Jews” promoting terrorist or economic attacks on innocent Jewish people (in Israel, for instance), “Christian” anti-Semites (What Would Jesus Say?),
I frankly do not accept that these folks have any real right to continue calling themselves members of their parents’ faith communities.
But then again, the RC Church has not seen fit to exercise its “excommunication” provisions very effectively, particularly as regards some of the most public “Catholics” harming the body of Christ. And “excommunication” in Judaism, outside rare cases in Orthodox circles, is also nearly unheard of ....
and when a Protestant church excommunicates or disfellows or whatever a seriously errant parishioner, s/he can just go across the street to a “liberal church”
I have a friend who wanted to be a Catholic priest. The Bishop refused to ordain him due to his open life with another man. My friend just went over to the Episcopal (Anglican) church and they welcomed him with open arms as a new priest there.
I have no solution to any of this. Just musing. Perhaps some readers can offer some workable solutions? We sure need them!
Just having so many people running around claiming to be Christians or Jews.... but openly undermining almost all Biblical teachings.... is, at the very least, conducive to confusion. In the regular consumer goods marketplace, there are rules against false labelling. One wonders....?

Of course, if you go into secularized “Jewish” circles (either disaffiliated or many ‘reform’ areas), then you meet a lot of people who have abandoned most, or all, of their received faith teachings .... and yes, you see support for “gay marriage” shoot up.

I'm pretty sure it's just secular Jews. Religious Jews are on our side. Unfortunately, too many people are becoming less religious in this day and age.
It's funny how having children and teaching them right from wrong will eventually bring people to power.
