If you attended church, synagouge, temple, mosque etc. did your pastor say anything about recent USSC rulings?
please ping me when you post the link. Thank You.
Neither did John The Baptist. However he preached a sermon to Herod concerning his sins which cost him his very life for doing so. A church silent on issues was the full intention of the man who wrote the bill tieing churches tax exempt status to the teachings of the pulpit to silence preachers from speaking out. The man then a congressman was Lyndon Baines Johnson.
The USSC ruling wasn't a political one as much as it was a moral one trying to force Judeo/Christians to comply to the demands of homosexuals and likely either give them church rites {weddings and pulpit etc} or loose exempt status.
Marriage is a sacred act ordained from GOD for man and woman only. They opened the door wide too turn church and states rights into federal mandated religious Rites which churches must perform. Silence of churches and church leaders is consent.
The mealy mouthed response from our Archdiocese.

Our Pastor said he will not perform same sex weddings. Nor will we rent our facilities to someone else for them to. when it comes to do it or else, we will take the else. On this, we are of one accord.
Ok. In the meantime, check your freepmail.
Man, this guy is spot on... we are on the margins of American culture today... Christian thought is not respected.... so dang true....
Thank You, my FRiend in Christ! :-)
Thanks for posting, just finished listening. You have a great Pastor there. Pulled no punches.
My priest wore his black funerary robes to symbolize the death of America as we once new it. He then blasted the USSC decision. He said he was called by the media to give his opinion, and he said he “let them have it”. He finished by instructing us all to prepare to be like the Maccabees.
L(:)L!
My pastor preached from God’s Word like he does every Sunday. He talked about returning to God and how we need to be a church that 1. Praises God 2. Prays to God 3. Proclaims God 4. Is pure before God 5. Is perfected in unity 6. Proceeds with faith in God. He also encouraged us to be praying for revival and said we need another awakening in our country.
“Onced they are saved, they aren’t “Under the Law” but under Grace!:-)”
Yeah. Well, The Apostle Paul was under Grace, just as much as we are; but he, nevertheless, stressed that you just don’t DO a lot of things the flesh wants to do - not if you want a part in the Kingdom of God. :o)
What’s a loose offering? Being a Catholic, we have dated categorized envelopes (although I donate automatically online, I drop in the envelope as proof of my attendance).
Outbursts of applause and ‘Amens!’ aplenty in that church...standing ovations might have been a bit over the top.
Anything not in an envelope or not designated in the memo section of a check is a loose offering. $20 bill in an envelope is a designated offering. $20 bill in the plate is a loose offering.
As they say, "I guess you had to be there."
"You can have victory! Just give me money!"
