“Nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof” she didn’t read that part, did she?

This is going to be pushed more and more, and eventually it will win fools in courts, if miracle does not intervene
(and prayers to the Lord of miracles would be quite fitting).

Guess I missed the “Christians MUST participate in gay weddings whether they want to or not” part of #1. Guess I need the new updated version of the constitution/BOR.

Genesis 19:9 And they said , Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn , and he will needs be a judge : now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door. 10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door. 11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
She should show us where in there it mentions forcing people to go against religious precepts.

I think she has a fair read on what the law holds. Roberts notices that SCOTUS didn't expressly allow for the free exercise of religion.
The choice boils down to exercise of religion and civil disobedience; or obey the law.

“you can believe in your heart and mind what you want”
This is exactly what supreme (cough cough) court kennedy said. We can teach and advocate under our 1st amendment right, and by implication, we cannot “excercise” our 1st amendment right.
So now we have Obama and Hillary saying that it is now up to the perverted sodomites to help us in the new understanding of the brave new progressive American way of perversion and sodomy.

The BBC series of “I, Claudius” from the 1970’s had an episode about how the Roman Emperor Caligula forced the Patricians of Rome to work in brothels or participate in orgies he organized.
I thought at the time - “how ridiculous, what government would organize such things, or who would allow themselves to be forced into such things.”
Now I know better. I see how such things could happen, and I can also understand how well-off citizens, in positions of power and much to lose would submit themselves to a random government that could take everything from them.
