It’s now one nation under the 1.5% of the population.

We haven’t been one nation in a long time.

Someone should collect up anti-religious signage and photos of men at gay pride events mocking Jesus, priests, nuns, and religion in general.

Theirs is not a tolerant movement. It is homofascism.

“one nation under God.”
Don’t doubt that this phrase will be eliminated from the pledge of allegiance.

Well I’m of the firm belief that ALL federal and state buildings should immediately remove “In God We Trust” anywhere it’s noted. Any mention should also be removed.

Not sure which god they are bowing down to, but it CERTAINLY AIN’T my God!!!!

I heard something the other day, can’t remember where just now, that said the line was actually, “Buy, buy, Miss American Pie”. Interesting.

The progressives won a huge trifecta this past week. The church shooting and the Supreme Court rulings on ObamaCare and marriage. Each by itself is unsettling to our nations foundations but all 3 together is an earthquake the damage of which will be long lasting.

One Nation, in Defiance of God would be more accurate.

The way I am feeling today, ...and from what I am reading on FR and elsewhere - they have unleashed a sleeping giant. Principled and moral people will not accept this outcome. Freedom died with the SCOTUS decision, and separation of the United States will follow one way or another. I feel it in my bones.

Meaning of ‘one nation under God’ died with decision

Wrong.

That died a long, LONG time ago. When the Supreme Court misquoted Jefferson to impose their "wall of separation" doctrine (1947), it was sick. By the time of school prayer being forbidden, it was already critically ill (1962). When California permitted unilateral marriage repudiation without cause (1969), the idea that America was in any way "under God" was dead and buried.

This all began when we allowed the premise of “free speech” to permeate our culture with lewd images and ideas. It’s been a steady drip, drip, drip from about the fifties until now we’re deluged with obscenities of all kinds. If we had really followed The Word, none of that would have been allowed to seep into our culture. We are a nation that turned its back on the teachings of the Almighty that, in hindsight, would have saved us from what we are experiencing today. Each one of us that lived through those times, either chose to ignore or even enjoy the results of a morally relaxed society, myself included. Now we are going to reap what we have sowed. Like nations in times long past; we could be delivered if we repented of all we have allowed and return to obedience. I don’t see that happening to America. Quite the contrary. We will fall under the weight of G-d’s natural law. Jesus Christ will be the only hope of deliverance for the individual and that only after enduring the persecution that is undoubtedly on its way.

I’m interested to know just what we will be celebrating this 4th of July. I don’t see much left. The flag my father taught me to revere and respect came to mean and stand for nothing that he believed in and fought for yesterday. I don’t think it represents my and my freedoms anymore either. It certainly doesn’t stand for My Almighty Creator or anything He stands for either.

I’m devastated, sad and angered for what has happened to the nation I love, but I don’t question the fact that The Almighty has control. His Will be done.

We have had it too good for too long. America didn’t go through what Europe had to endure during WWI and WWII, so most are complacent. Nothing lasts forever, and our breakup is at hand.

What died was the fig leaf of the SCOTUS interpreting and abiding by the Constitution. The tyranny was open for all to see. And two terrible things were seen. The Marxists on the bench don’t give a damn about the constitution and never have, and there is essentially nothing short of Article V, we can do about it. And the SCOTUS knows it. In the majority, the people we elect who can correct this naked power grab, lie to us about their principles and beliefs without shame or conscience. Thus Congress is cowed and silent. I do not believe 0 will leave at the end of his term. He must be jealous of the court’s dictitorial power. Why should he leave? Because the Constitution says so? Bah, the court will do nothing if he stays and congress cannot do anything about it. The Democrats, who have never given a damn America and the Constitution, will protect 0 from impeachment in a block vote. So what will stop him from becoming our first individual dictator? Nothing! And that is what we have to fear.

Here is the letter I sent on the subject. Oh, I really like “One Nation in Defiance of God”.

Equal protection under the law now excludes tens of millions of Jewish, Christian and Muslim believers, who consider classical scholarship finds homosexual relationships separate people from God. The Old Testament, holy to “People of the Book”, speaks of the character, identity, and purpose of God in a manner, which continuously addresses homosexuality. God is identified as masculine and all humans as feminine in relation to Him. After creating all things, He created the single institution of heterosexual marriage to point to the love relationship He desires with humanity. For them any subsequent reasoning from scriptures must derive from that basic understanding.

Focusing on first principles regarding marriage renders irrelevant contrary arguments of fairness and tolerance, and pecuniary arguments regarding taxes and social welfare. The Fourteenth Amendment was not the primary concern, because Constitutionality could have been maintained through the elegant expressions, and endless tomes legislators luxuriate in creating on issues from plastic bags to healthcare.

A popular civil trend now erases foundational Constitutional principle and injects a crippling abscess into spiritual faith. These believers reside outside boundaries guaranteeing religious freedom to become guilty of cultural prejudice, and next to confront logics defining their beliefs as criminal.

Same sex marriage tears the spinal cord out of the desert religions. What remains is a gooey substitute for spiritual faith which can be layered onto any secular philosophy. People will either buy into this new normal or be unable to benefit from this redefinition of the First Amendment.
