In knocking down the last remaining barriers to same-sex marriage in the United States, the Supreme Court announced a conclusion that, according to every measure of public opinion, a substantial majority of Americans have already reached: there is no longer any justification for denying the dignity and protections of civil marriage to gays and lesbians.
The decision is consistent with the American constitutional principle that government must provide strong justification – that is, it must point to serious and concrete harms – before it denies a fundamental liberty such as the right to marry. On this point, the arguments of the states that continued to deny marriage equality were tested in the crucible of litigation, and they were found lacking in evidence and logic.

First a majority has never believed this. Second it is not the Supreme Court’s job to just make law out of what they think is a good idea. Doing whatever feels good is the policy of LGBTQ it’s not a good approach for SCOTUS.
That was Scalia’s whole point, he doesn’t care about gay marriage for or against, he cares about our system of government.

The false gods in black dresses found it in the 14th amendment. Why wasn’t it ever found by previous justices? 14th amendment has been there a long time. Certainly it could’ve been invoked in other homosexualist cases before the Supreme Court.

If true then the advocates of this novel definition - a definition that the word has never had - would have had no difficulty having this novel definition incorporated into the law. They failed repeatedly and by large margins.
Judges are not Legislators. For judges to impose upon society a novel definition, to aid the advocates of the novel definition to obtain what they could not obtain Legislatively is tyrannical and beyond the authority of their Office.
The homofascists aren’t going to behave in a very dignified manner at their civic gay pride marches this weekend. Public sex, public nudity, attacks on religion (signs, costumes, etc.).
