So. Freepers are no better than the politicians in DC.

Good to know.

Cowardice is cowardice. I’ve quit good jobs because of crap. Get a spine. Cave in to libs and PC crap and you’ll take anything they shove up your ass. Take guns away from Jews? Sure. Make them wear gold stars on their clothes? Sounds resonable.

Cowards.

I don't know how much longer I will be granted ‘freedom of speech’ but until I am told I no longer have that Freedom, I will voice my opinion, to anyone, anytime, and any where...

When ‘money, the root of all evil’ takes over common sense and buys the politicians then I will voice my RINO concerns...and that is exactly what is happening today, along with the “Muslim Brotherhood” slob boy belongs to...

You can’t get fired from an elected office. Further when RINO go against their principles they are almost always going against the direct stated desires of their constituency making it more difficult to get themselves re-elected. Your metaphor is flawed at best.

First, we must understand that most of the chosen 435 of the House of Reps had to claw, grasp, climb their way up from humble beginnings. Does that sound familiar? Didn’t you have to do the same to achieve your level of success? They had to eat many a cr@p sandwich as they endured endless boring time on local school boards and county commissions and dealt with petty complaints from unreasonable constituents.

So did the signers of the Declaration of Independence. But then to them, principle was more important than personal convenience.

Sorry, no sale. I'm out of patience.

Is this an OPUS?/s

1. Sorry but if work demanded that I go against the Lord, yes, I would sacrifice my income.

2. These politicians swear to uphold the Constitution. Even if it is against their personal needs.

3. They also promise to represent us, their constituents, not themselves in office.

If they can’t do these things they should not bother to run for public office. You are correct. Not many people can put aside their personal desires. That is precisely why we only have 435 members of the House, 100 senators, 9 Supreme Court justices and one president out of 300 million + people.

There is no excuse you can make for the traitorous behavior of these sellouts.

The only RINOS worth defending are spelled Rhinos. The others are no better than Democrats and often worse.

How often at your workplace have you held your tongue out of fear of saying something that could get you fired? Are you willing to put your principles ahead of your income or pension or do you regularly “suck it up,” and save your muttering until you get home? Our politicians are no different.

Sorry. I can't equate working a trade or a profession for a living with seeking out federal public office.

They know the requirements of the job when they *ask us* to please send them there. It's a blatant violation of the trust they ask us to put in them for the privilege of representing us.

p.s. Ted Cruz just said on Hannity that the American people will start calling for an Article V convention.

What utter pap.

Conservatives operate on principle. I have walked away from fame and fortune for principle, and that many times. Principles, by definition, are ‘first things’, and cannot be moved. It’s the way of life, not a mere political slogan...

If you don’t understand that, then you are not Conservative, any more than those mealy-mouthed politicians in DC.

A dealership I worked at sold a car with an expensive emission failure. As shop foreman in the service department, I was consulted. I informed the customer and sales manager that the dealership had to fix the car. It is the law.

I got fired for doing what was right.

I demand a representative in Congress willing to do the right thing, even at personal expense. You can settle for scumbags I will not.

I accept the conclusion, but reject the premise.

Congress is subject to global forces, and is stuck with a vast domestic bureaucratic machine of its (Congress's) creation. When one "gets in," it's like getting a job as foreman in a major corporation. There is no way on God's green earth that you are going to change the corporation. Not even if all the foremen pulled in the same direction. Either those bosses (hidden in politics) or the workers (the bureaucrats) will torpedo the efforts.

Getting into politics is a good gig because the pay is okay, the graft potential is enormous, and the retirement benefits are unbeatable. Going into federal politics with the goal being to reducxe the federal machine? That's Pollyanna.

Tough one. Revolutions in human liberty generally come when the elites see their interests benefitted with the accident that liberty for all grows.

We’re winning on guns and abortion, despite terrible rulings out of SCOTUS and the near total control of schools and the media by liberals. How were those two fights won?

Once upon a time a group of men risked their lives, fortunes and sacred honor for what was right. But you’re right, even back then most people just wanted to go along and get along.

If they can’t stand the heat they should not be in the kitchen in the first place. It’s not merely a ‘job’ it is the future of a free people and until recently a defender of what was good in the world. With great power comes great responsibility.

A “citizen” legislature was not supposed to mean a career. It was supposed to be one or two terms the out.
