Sen. Ted Cruz isnt happy with the Supreme Court. Reacting to the King v. Burwell decision handed down Thursday, the Republican presidential candidate and senator from Texas called the health care ruling judicial activism and agreed with Justice Antonin Scalias dissent that the health care law should be renamed SCOTUScare from Obamacare.
As Justice Scalia rightfully put it: words no longer have meaning, Cruz, a lawyer who has litigated before the Supreme Court and started his career as a law clerk for former Chief Justice William Rehnquist, protested from the Senate floor. Todays decision in King vs. Burwell is judicial activism, plain and simple. Cruz praised Rehnquist's Court, a sentiment that he obviously did not feel for the Court of Chief Justice John Roberts, whom Cruz recruited to the legal team of President George W. Bush in 2000 before Roberts was a justice on the Court.
Cruz said that the two landmark decisions -- the first coming in 2012 -- to support the Affordable Care Act were acts of magic on the part of the Supreme Court justices. The first time the court ignored federal law and magically transformed a statutory penalty into a tax. Today, these robed Houdinis have transmogrified a federal exchange into an exchange, quote established by the state.

Compare his attitude to many in GOP leadership who are now breathing a sigh of relief that Obamacare was upheld by the court.

This will actually make it easier to abolish the whole thing.
But don't be surprised if the glorious solution is another deduction out of your paycheck...just like Federal Taxes, SS and Medicare. Of course, as usual, only workers pay but everyone is covered.

The rule of law is dead in America. Justice removed her blinders and the Father the Son and the Holy Ghost caught the last train for the coast. The dictionary like language are now meaningless which means society as a whole will soon come crashing down. Faith and hope are now overshadowed by media commercials as New York Bankers fiddle away and freedom burns. The snowball is picking up speed and the slope is increasing.

At this point, Cruz seems to be the only one in DC with any HONOR. Our country was dependent on the honesty and integrity of it's citizens. Unfortunately, it seems the majority of citizens no longer care about honesty or integrity......of course, when you have a sexual predator (Clinton) in the highest office in the land and shortly thereafter you have a pResident that actually hates the country that he is supposed to serve, why should most of the LIVs care about honesty and integrity? Unfortunately, soon the majority of the ‘citizenry’ (and I am including Obama’s illegals) will be living off the hard work of others. And then demanding the lifestyle of those who support them, to the detriment of those who are required to support the gibmedats. Our country is nearly beyond repair. Sayonara, America, you had a good run, but you can no longer keep the Fascists at bay. They are in every nook and cranny of the Government and will bleed dry anyone who believed in the American Dream; those naively thinking honesty and integrity still matter.

These black-robed tyrants should be shamed in public and hounded into early retirement (after 0bama is gone). Problem is they and the system isolate them from the real world. They don't listen to any criticism that exposes their dishonesty and liberal agenda. They get invited to speak at gatherings of slack-jawed drooling sycophants, but won't go anywhere they might be exposed to different opinions.
I suppose we could hope for a miracle and have the spineless republican (small r intentional) congress could impeach these traitorous tyrants.

These “justices” start with the outcome they want, then go about building whatever distortions of law and language are necessary to justify it. They are a joke and deserve ZERO respect from any American.
The left, of course, loves all of this. They don’t care about following the law or civility. No. For the left, all that matters is getting one’s way. They have the emotional maturity of children, and it’s about time conservatives realize we can’t win this by appeals to civility and the law. You cannot reason with infants.

FYI - Cruz supported Roberts for the SCOTUS nomination.
This is not to criticize Cruz, but to point out that we should not be quick to blame Reagan for O’Connor or Bush for Roberts.
