Decision means:
This means that individuals who get their health insurance through an exchange established by the federal government will be eligible for tax subsidies.
Roberts writes the opinion, per FoxNews.
Obama win.

Wow. So, disparate impact and subsidies upheld on the same day? Bad day. And a bad day for textualism (neither ruling was in line with the text of the relevant law).
To: mrs9x
‘The statute says what it says.’
Yep, there goes ‘the rule of law’.

COULD HARRIET MIERS POSSIBLY HAVE BEEN ANY WORSE???? Harriet Miers was nominated for the seat that ultimately went to Alito, not to Roberts. So, yes, she could have been worse. Alito has been (generally) good.
