Bolstered by a recent Quinnipiac survey that shows him with a double digit lead over the GOP field in Ohio, the state he has served as governor since 2011, John Kasich says the chances he will toss his hat into the Republican primary contest for the partys 2016 Presidential nomination in 2016 are looking pretty darn good.
The Quinnipiac poll also has more encouraging news for Kasich. He is the only Republican candidate who beats Hillary in Ohio.
Kasich is widely expected to announce his candidacy for President in about two weeks. If he does, he will join a field already crowded with a dozen announced candidates. The number could grow to as many as 20 by September.

All state offices are held by republicans. The Congressional delegation is two to one republican. One of two senators is republican. None of them are "blue."
When you don't have the faintest idea what you are talking about, it is best to dummy up and not reveal your ignorance.

Very little chance. He just hopes to land on the ticket. Ohio helps his case to be on the ticket.
If not on the ticket, I believe he wants to hook up with another TV gig.
