Drexel Hill tween Arielle Baril wowed on last night's America's Got Talent singing Puccini's "O Mio Babbino Caro." The 11-year-old Baril said her brother trained her to sing at a young age. She's quite poised for 11, and her voice is incredible.

I would never watch this show, but, why is Heidi Klum considered a judge of actual talent?

All kidding aside, I wasn’t expecting the sound of her voice. I’m sure we’ll be hearing much more from her.

Exquisite phrasing. Proper training will get that vibrato of hers under better control.

Yes...that was a “little girl” vibrato and does need to be trained out.

But heck...she’s a little girl, so it’s OK at this stage to sound like one! LOL!

She seems like a sweet person too...which is important! :-)

It’s not the socio-economic group that one normally associates with a love for opera, but that’s how we got Leontyne Price and Jessye Norman.

Her performance was SUPERB! That’s one of my favorite pieces for opera. The few times I watch those shows, I am struck at how colossal, gargantuan the stage hall is. Not a place for a wallflower, or the easily intimidated.
