Fox News will not renew its contract with Sarah Palin, whose bombastic appearances have been a cable staple since the former Alaska governors failed run on John McCains ticket in the 2008 presidential election cycle. When asked for comment, a Fox News spokesperson confirmed the network had amicably parted ways with the governor on June 1.
Palin, 51, is expected to make occasional guest appearances on Fox and Fox Business, and will appear on other networks and cables. She has a show on the Sportsman Channel, does a lot of speeches, and will announce a new publishing project soon.

Very, very interesting.
Is Sarah Palin herself, preparing to run?
Thanks.
If it wasn't for Palin, McCain would have suffered a Mondalesque wuppin'
Exactly.
Two things McCain could have done that would have greatly improved his chances in 2008, and I believe would have put him over the top:
1. Not hobbled Palin once he choose her. He should have let Palin be Palin and run her own campaign with her own advisors instead of shackling her with that liberal traitor Nicole Wallace.
2. Not suspended his campaign to run off to Washington to “save the country” and then end up voting for the Bush Bailout.
McCain was incredibly stupid. How he got the nomination in the first place is beyond me. But he got it, and once he did get it I believe he could have been president. But instead, with the help of Wallace and his other “advisors” he flushed it all down the toilet... and the rest is our Ignominious History.
Is the Pope Jewish?
ANY Republican that hires Nicolle Wallace, Steve Schmidt, Mark McKinnon will NEVER get my vote again!! These are NOT REPUBLICANS.
Ha ha.
The new Leftist Murdoch at the helm of Faux appears to have started the purge.
Start to see fewer appearences from mainstays on the programming....
I don’t know...
I just did a search on Sarah Palin. It didn’t see anything yet on this, except this article from Politico, and another, also from Politico:
http://www.politico.com/playbook/0615/playbook18864.html
Palins Facebook page got a new look at midnight, including a new cover photo with a quote from her announcement speech in Dayton, Ohio: I didnt get into government to do the safe and easy things. A ship in harbor is safe but thats not why the ship is built.
Shell remain heavily involved in GOP congressional and gubernatorial primaries for 2016, and many candidates have reached out to her. This week, SarahPAC is donating to over 40 candidates. She is currently out in the mail to several thousand SarahPAC donors with a half-hour documentary DVD detailing her impact on Republican politics over the past 3 cycles. See a trailer. http://bit.ly/1dfzDAn
Stay tuned.

Fox dumps Palin yet keeps Rove the fat dope?
There are a lot of Republicans these days who are Not Republican. That’s what RINO is.
I have really all but cut out watching Fox as well.
I have wondered what happened to Michelle Malkin. I used to see her on Fox quite regularly. She may have been too hard-hitting (aka truthful) for them.
I heard a little while ago that Dr. Robert Jeffress came out and called islam what it is - I wonder if he will ever appear on Fox again.
The truth seems to be just a little too much for them now.
I don’t think McCain wanted it. When he named Sarah Palin for VP; his candidacy zoomed in popularity. He seemed to then get spooked & started shooting himself in the foot - which set the stage for Obama’s big win & his “performance” in front of the crowd of worshippers. - Yeah. If not for Palin; McCain would probably go down in history as the BIGGEST LOSER in history. - Sarah clearly didn’t like losing.
Sarah was
I was going to comment on the Headline being what it was, but then not two lines down we get "...is expected to make occasional guest appearances on Fox and Fox Business,"
But then, Old Sarge pointed out this "The new Leftist Murdoch at the helm of Faux appears to have started the purge. Start to see fewer appearances from mainstays on the programming...."
I had forgotten about that.
F.R. will soon be the only place we have at all.
Unless Sarah is considering a political announcement of her own, coming up...
Just saying. Keep an eye open, Sarah may be preparing to run, herself.
Or perhaps, to join someone who is currently running.
Fox News has become a typical MSM outlet
