Senator Tim Scott to Call for the Removal of the Confederate Battle Flag from the Statehouse Grounds

All three statewide-elected politicians in South Carolina have now called from the Confederate Battle Flag to be taken down. The Post and Courier reports:

You don't get it :o): take down the confederate battle flag and no one will shoot anyone ever again.

Because I believe that so strongly :o), this morning I ordered a Confederate Flag, a Don't Tread On Me flag with the coiled snake, the Goliad Texas Flag “Come and Take It” with pic. of cannon on it; and the present Texas flag.

I figure once they take down that Confederate Flag, they won't stop and will go after other flags that represent some fact of history, and try to get them all banned from sale.

I'll keep these historical flags I just ordered and give them to my grown son as a Christmas present for him to keep in order to preserve history.

Also unmentioned is that the Clinton used to celebrate Confederate Flag Day in Arkansas back when old Loose Morals Willie was governator. But now Hillary thinks the Confederate flag should be banned?

So, considering the recent black-on-white crime wave, and also the decades-old black-on-black crime wave in the major cities controlled by black Democrats (but I repeat myself), I call for the repeal of the Martin Luther King holiday. It clearly didn't work, and is a symbol of violence and oppression.

Then we should repeal every single Federal law that has contributed to the destruction of the black (and white) family. That would cut the Federal budget by 90 percent. We could have an excellent and well-funded military with the remaining 10 percent.

The crime rate would also fall by about 75 percent. The economy would boom. Wages of black men would rise by about 300 percent within 5 years. You can thank me later.

No, it makes no diffrence to me. I live in Massachusetts, the opposite pole of those long ago political battles. I’m just tired of the republicans constantly being tarred with the confederate flag when it was the democrats who made it a racist symbol, with their lynchings and their Klu Klux Klan and their Civil Rights filibusters, and their hoses, and their Jim Crow laws, etc.

The `angry black me’ crowd wants to take down the Confederate flag on the State House grounds because of the evil act of a lone loser, and now they are interested in attacking the statue of Pitchfork Ben Tillman on the same grounds just a few yards away.

Truth told, Tillman was a real racist both as governor and U.S. senator. He later met with Woodrow Wilson who seemed to be an admirer (Wilson was born in Columbia, SC).

Just looked it up - the movement to take down the flag is now adopting removal of the Tillman statue which has stood on the State House grounds since 1940.
