Which were baseless in fact. 'Getting rid of guns' would work no better than getting rid of illegal drugs; it would INCREASE gun violence.

You’re confusing outlawing guns with ridding society of guns. Rove said that a society without guns would be a society without gun violence. That is obviously true on the face of it. Rove also said you couldn’t rid society of guns.
