Well, well, well what do you know, FEMA gets it right. The taxpayers are spared from having to bail out Baltimores inept leadership. Almost immediately: the wheels on the bus go whaa whaa whaa
Up next: FEMA is racist.
"Hey Rawlings-Blake (aka DUNCE), raise city taxes and pay for your mess that your animals made!"
Chutzpah = allowing unimpeded access to people intent on destroying your home, then bitching because the homeowner’s insurance refuses to cover the damages.
Is it me or does this Mayor look really dumb in that snapshot photo?
Wait a minute, she is dumb- forget it!
Obama is letting FEMA get away with this? Obviously FEMA is racist.
Good Gawd! Seriously?? FEMA isn’t going to make American taxpayers fix all the damage the idiots did to their own neighborhoods? Waait a sec. This has to be The Onion, right? Funny ha.
Am I reading this right?
a broken clock...
This is great news.
Will make cities crack down faster in the future.
Would have sent a terrible message if they did.
Well, what a surprise, the dumb cluck is getting her due desserts.
She wanted those thugs setting fires and robbing and breaking things....she got her way about that and told the police to stand down, can’t get any better than this.
The Obama Administration got something right. Stopped clock and all that.
“Is it me or does this Mayor look really dumb in that snapshot photo?”
Well, she’s always walking around with her mouth open, which is a sign of a low IQ! Either that or she’s a bottom feeder.
I’m sure Obama will accommodate Baltimore with an EO and billions of our taxpayer dollars. After all Baltimore is too big to fail.
The FEMA administrator misread the application: thought it read Biltmore.

Were told we have 30 days to appeal, he said. Were working with the federal delegation and Obama administration officials to assess what we might do to become eligible for reimbursement.
I would be willing to bet the appeal will be successful
... to assess what we might do to become eligible for reimbursement.
What might He want them to do something before the money is given?
Yeah!!!! Let’s hope this decision sticks. Telling your police force to “stand down and give them room to destroy” has consequences. And I can think of a more deserving group than the Baltimore City leadership-—starting with the idiot mayor who stupidly followed Valerie Jarrett’s directions.
Not to be believed! Under the table pmts will occur.
Glad to hear it. Maybe my FEMA flood insurance premiums will remain at the current rate for a while.
Yeah.... When don’t try to stop it, you don’t get to ask for help.
Dereliction of duty should not be reimbursed.
