Treasury: New $10 bill to feature woman

Treasury announced a redesign for the $10 bill.

Jack Lew, Treasury secretary, said by 2020, the U.S. $10 bill will feature the face of a female, in addition to that of Alexander Hamilton.

“The next generation of currency, starting with the new $10 note, will include various design features that celebrate democracy,” Treasury put out in a statement, the Blaze reported. “In keeping with that theme, Treasury Secretary Jacob J. Lew has decided that the new $10 note should feature a woman who was a champion for our inclusive democracy.”

Could be trouble. Weren't there, aren't there, some folks who were looking to have the first female appear on a $20? Does this devalue women? Kinda like sayin' you want $20 but here's a $10. Purty sure somebody's gonna whine.

It'a worse than that. Hamilton wasn't a President. Besides Franklin on the $100, he's the only non-president on paper currency. So women weren't good enough to stand equal with a president on our money in circulation today!
