Police Release Photos of Charleston South Carolina Church Shooting Suspect

Police and federal law enforcement agencies were in the midst an all-out manhunt Thursday morning for the gunman they say is responsible for killing 9 people in a Charleston South Carolina church Wednesday night in what police described as a hate crime.

The suspect opened fire on a bible study group at the historic black Emanuel AME Church on Calhoun street, killing eight people in an "unfathomable." Two other people were rushed to the hospital where one died.

Early Thursday morning, police released pictures from surveillance footage showing the suspect, a younger white man, approximately 21-25 years old, as well as the car he was driving, police said.

It is similar to a “Roman Nose”. Not flat, African nose.

Weird, after looking more closely at the zoom-ins I made, it appears that what looks like a nose in the pic on the right may actually be a continuation of whatever that is in the background. But where then is his nose in the pic on right??

A non-black sitting around in a black church is going to attract notice. Perhaps the witness was observing him before he started shooting?

Yes, you might be right (see my post 141). I figured the color difference may have been due to a bright reflection. In any case, the pic on the left clearly shows a somewhat large nose.
