"Encouraging to see the strength and diversity the GOP has to offer voters as the 2016 race continues to unfold." – Governor Sarah Palin
Encouraging to see the strength and diversity the GOP has to offer voters as the 2016 race continues to unfold. Unlike the coronation on the left, conservatives can head towards a positive, healthy democratic (small d!) debate on how best to restore America to the beautiful and bold dream our Founders set forth.
It was encouraging today to hear Governor Jeb Bush speak directly to an issue that touches so many lives in these challenging times, both culturally and fiscally – raising a child with special needs. Nearly one quarter of American families live with special children that have greater challenges than some people will ever understand. These families need an advocate in a government that insists it can set our nation’s priorities, especially given the disastrous implications of Obamacare on the special needs community. As was said today, these children are truly a blessing and they can teach us more than we can ever teach them. Some days it’s admittedly tough to understand all God’s purposes, but it helps when those we chose as leaders have a heart for those less fortunate. I’m glad Jeb’s life was touched by God’s purpose-filled children, and hope he continues with a positive message of inclusion, empowerment and specifics as how we can best advocate for families who would never expect government to do it all, but would like to count on government being on their side.
This campaign is just getting underway with many good candidates, and many more to come. Let’s keep our hearts open, but our eyes and ears too! May the best man, or woman, win! See you on the trail!

I’m sorry, but I can’t be optimistic like Sarah about conservatives in the 2016 elections.
RUN SARAH RUN!
Sarah knows that no matter who or what, these Children are Innocent.
THEY will help YOU be a better person.
The GOP will always lack diversity until Sarah Palin gets into the fray..........sorry Carly, like you well enough but you just ain’t Sarah.
This campaign is just getting underway with many good candidates, and many more to come. Lets keep our hearts open, but our eyes and ears too! May the best man, or woman, win! See you on the trail!
...and many more to come.
I’ll take that, as a spot of hope, for now :)
The media will crucify her....
She stands as much chance as Ron Paul did....
I have my way of narrowing the field. If you name is Bush or Kasich your out. If you served in this feckless GOP Congress your contaminated and out.
Lets take whats left and star from there.
Like Terri Schiavo.
Agreed. And those running don’t want anything to do with her. I doubt she’ll be appearing at any campaign rallies. I may be wrong so no flame, please. Even though they don’t really burn.
With the ego most posses to run for president I imagine it would be tough to call Sarah in to campaign for you when you know you will be automatically relegated to second fiddle the moment Sarah steps on the stage.:).......remember when Sarah campaigned for Rick Perry, give him credit as he was smart enough to speak before Sarah to make sure the crowd heard what he had to say(or was aware he was there):)
Bada boom!
There’s no way Palin would join a Bush ticket, right?
I can’t believe what a bunch of saps we have in our ranks.
We’re getting ready to play the same old game where everyone has a favorite. And then they all get 2-7% of the vote.
They sap interest from the truly good guys, and then surprise surprise, we wind up with Bob Dole, George Bush, John McCain, and Mitt Romney.
Folks, it isn’t a great thing we have in excess of ten people interested in being president on our side.
Please get that through your THICK heads.
We don’t win because we have more candidates. We lose.
The GOPe and the RNC are not the only folks with a political death wish. Sadly, folks right here have one too.
If we have ten guys and they each get 2 to 7%, who wins?
The most Conservative?
Hasn’t worked out that way for nearly 30 years.
In some ways you are correct....but whats happening in America is much bigger than a political party.
America is doomed, in case you hadn’t noticed and its way too late to stop what the dark side started decades ago.
Of course, most don’t believe in the Devil, and he has used that to his advantage.
Now he has a well groomed and well trained human organization that is utilizing Marxist tactics and tools.
We are about to enter the Biblical Last Days, the end times, and some would say we are at the doorstep of the biblical Tribulation...so its no longer a political solution but a time to figure out if you and I are “Right with Jesus”......
Fine - don't be optimistic. But, don't be lethargic and leave the door wide open for the Left via inaction either....
optimism requires effort.
leaving the door open is basically inaction, a cop out, and is easy, requiring no effort. then when criticized, claim you did the principled thing
Who says she’s talking about herself? “Many more to come” could mean ANYBODY....candidates we don’t even know, or think about, right now.
So, in addition to Bush and Kasich, you just eliminated Cruz, Rubio, Paul, and Santorum (but who gives a crap about him). So, please, tell us who your choice might be.
You are correct. I will choose from who is remaining. We need to decontaminate this party and this government and you dont do that by electing from within it.
