Four Weeks Later: Waco Police Narrative Unravels
Breitbart Texas ^ | Lee Stranahan

Posted on 06/14/2015 4:18:39 PM PDT by House Atreides

"Four weeks after the deadly May 17th shooting incident outside a Waco Twin Peaks restaurant, more details have come out concerning the incident, but significant questions still remain about the actions taken by law enforcement and the police’s account of what transpired.

Although the national mainstream media has largely moved on from the Waco story, if critics of the police are correct, the incident represents an unprecedented civil rights violation and media cover-up campaign by the Waco authorities....

...In a statement on Friday, the police said that of 16 officers that were in the parking lot, only three fired a total of 12 shots. However, the statement still didn’t clarify how many of the bikers were killed by police. Authorities say they have not recieved final autopsy results that would clarify ballistics...."

Fact: Red Dots and Scopes have different optical qualities which make them each suited for different scenarios.

As said, the Ranger’s SOP is to not issue reports, unless the facts are counter to the report by police. By there being no counter report, the indication is they agreed with WPD.

Thanks. I never had any doubt that there were good bikers there who were not arrested and who were grateful the police intervened.

Clearly 90% of the people who ride are good upstanding law abiding folks and were never a part of this gang trouble. Some of those riders may have become caught up in the arrests, but they should have known better than be in an obvious wrong place.

My fight is not against innocent motorcycle riders it is against the false infantile narratives being pushed on FR for God knows what reason.

Dufus, have the Waco police issued their investigative report? Even YOU will know that there has been no such report issued. If you know of the issuance of an investigative report by Waco PD, please provide a link. And PLEASE, do not insult our intelligence by trying to claim that ever changing public relation and press pronouncements by PD spokesmen (you know, such as “a 1,000 weapons were recovered”; “no, it was 500 weapons”; “no, it was 200”) constitute an investigative report.

But YOU know there has not been any such investigative report issued so how the hell could the Texas Rangers possibly agree to it by not issuing a “counter report”? You may “baffle them with bull shit” where you live, but you’ll fail at that on Free Republic.

You know what? You may technically be correct on one tiny point.

The “report” was probably better described as a “statement” by WPD to the Waco newspaper, to whit the same SOP by Rangers.

“Tell us, were your friends the ‘Grim Guardians’ armed? If so could you explain why would an honest Christian group needed to carry?”

Nowhere in the two Breitbart articles on the group is there any mention of the Grim Guarians being armed. So where is your source that they were armed? Evidently you made it up.

“If they really were innocent as lambs, when you dress up as a Pretend Bike Ganger and are in the wrong place at the very worst time, you get rolled up with the wolves.”

Today some of us celebrate the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta, which granted protection from illegal imprisonment and the access to swift justice. You, obviously, are more of the Divine Right of Kings sort.

“Oh, so they CLAIM! This is the same bunch of dudes that could NOT abide by the club rules of a decent riding club and had to strike out on their own.”

And where is your evidence for that claim?

Can you REALLY not tell the difference between my QUESTION regarding their being armed and your false accusation claiming I said they were armed? Do you really get FR as pictures and cartoon drawings as opposed to in written English for the rest of us? Don’t be pulling our leg now.

Your right: red dots and scopes are different, but both give great accuracy inside 100 yards, the dots even in difficult lighting. The "red dots" are really holographic, not at all like the red dots on handguns.

I've shot them, pretty amazing devices. Almost magical.

Thanks. I’ll take your whiny complaint as acknowledgement that you invented the charge out of whole cloth.

There was nothing in the Breitbart article to indicate that the Grim Guardians were armed. Nothing. The police didn’t charge them with weapons possession. And I didn’t introduce the idea that they were armed. There was no mention of weapons at all.

There was only one source for the idea that they were armed. You. And now you’re whining that you’re being subjected to ‘false accusation’ because I asked you to produce the evidence for what you wrote.

Talk about delicious irony- you were quite happy to poison the well by introducing the idea that weapons were involved, but suddenly it’s ‘false accusation’ to point out that you alone are the source of that idea. That’s ‘poetic justice’ spurty. Look it up.

I can clearly see that you have chosen not to.

Calling someone names because I thought they had an invalid argument as a retort? How original.

Thank you for stating your opinion on what you think my stance is and whom who have decided I choose to associate with.

The article tells us that the Grim Guardians had their Guardians of the Children charter pulled for failing to follow their protocols.

So what were the protocols that they broke?

So you don’t know what particular protocol resulted in them having their charter pulled?

I had the impression that you were claiming to know something about them when you previously posted this:

“This is the same bunch of dudes that could NOT abide by the club rules of a decent riding club and had to strike out on their own.”

Duh, I gave you the link where the Children of the Gods club kicked them out and you respond back with your nonsense.

It was Retort, not retard....... Jeez. No one was calling you any names.

Although the new tag teamers need to come up with a unique color scheme for their WWF secret getups costume so we can tell the nippin Chihuahuas apart.

Now if you have a serious substantive discussion in mind, I will be most happy to oblige equally.

me: “So you don’t know what particular protocol resulted in them having their charter pulled?”

you: “Duh, I gave you the link where the Children of the Gods club kicked them out and you respond back with your nonsense.”

I’m not surprised to find you denigrating a request for detail as “nonsense” when you’re challenged.

You don’t know what the issue was between the main club and its Austin charter because the article you linked to doesn’t provide any detail.

The link you posted merely says that the Guardians of the Children (the Children of God being a cult from the 1960s) pulled the Grim Guardians charter. And so your previous comment:

“This is the same bunch of dudes that could NOT abide by the club rules of a decent riding club”

proves to be just more of the same baseless hyperbole that you and your sidekick like to deal in.

If you knew what the issue was that prompted the Guardians of the Children to pull the charter you’d post it.

But you didn’t, because the truth is you don’t know, choosing instead to poison the well by contrasting them with the “decent riding club”. That’s life in the logic optional world where informal fallacies rule.
