Four Weeks Later: Waco Police Narrative Unravels
Breitbart Texas ^ | Lee Stranahan

Posted on 06/14/2015 4:18:39 PM PDT by House Atreides

"Four weeks after the deadly May 17th shooting incident outside a Waco Twin Peaks restaurant, more details have come out concerning the incident, but significant questions still remain about the actions taken by law enforcement and the police’s account of what transpired.

Although the national mainstream media has largely moved on from the Waco story, if critics of the police are correct, the incident represents an unprecedented civil rights violation and media cover-up campaign by the Waco authorities....

...In a statement on Friday, the police said that of 16 officers that were in the parking lot, only three fired a total of 12 shots. However, the statement still didn’t clarify how many of the bikers were killed by police. Authorities say they have not recieved final autopsy results that would clarify ballistics...."

Oh I see...yet another BUT-Monkey of the type that springs forth from DU. You’re 100% 2nd Amendment BUT.

Do you believe folks have the right of LIFE? Or is there a “BUT” associated with that if the person is a “biker” and therefore forfeits that right?

LOL! Please show me that in a AR-15 diagram!

While it would be possible to use the original carrying handle sighting system and a fairly big "can" and still have the iron sights work, in practice you never see this. I google searched "suppressed AR-15" and and got these examples from AR-15.com. They have 117 pages on the thread of "show us your suppressed rifles. A couple on the first few pages do not have optical sights, but they are AK-47 pattern or sub machines pisols. :

This is a 9mm. The suppressor is taking up the space where the old-school front sight would normally go, as I suggested.

Here is one where the stock-style iron front sight was retained, but it still has an optical site as the new primary sight.

And another, backup irons primary ACOG from the looks of it.

“Don’t play stupid, in just plays right in with biker gang. The link was to another thread and the header was the article indicating the Ranger’s participation.”

Sorry, I’m trying to follow your bread crumbs and, try as I will, I can’t find anything to substantiate your claim that the Texas Rangers “go along with the Waco police report”.

Do you have a link to the investigative report where the Texas Rangers are “going along with the Waco police report”? If not, you can simply be honest and say “No, I was blowing smoke...Just like I’ve been doing in many other Waco related posts. I enjoy trolling, lying and creating discord on Free Republic”. Go ahead, be honest.

“So, putting it all togehter we find that: one or more well-trained police snipers, with quality scoped and suppressed tactical rifles, shot one or more rounds, totalling 12, from a distance of < 100 yards, in broad daylight. “

Stretching ....

Police have stated that no snipers were on scene and non of the photos show scoped rifles.

He’s a “constitutional” BUT-Monkey. He “believes” in the 2nd Amendment BUT adds in his constraints.

Are YOU a “constitutional” BUT-Monkey also?

He put no constraints on the 2nd but you know that. You intentionally snipped his comment. Shame on you. Just for the record, below is the whole sentence.

Oh yes I am 100% 2nd Amendment and ever part of the Constitution, but I also have enough common sense to know if I am armed and in close proximity to a shooting, I stand some chance of being caught up in the sweep.

My God! You mean the police shooters fired into the crowd without the precision afforded by quality scopes and expertise provided by sniper training? From what distance did the police "shooters" initiate and continue their shooting?

And you, an innocent person who happened to be in the “proximity” of a shooting would be OK with the police scarfing you up, jailing you and placing you under $1 million bond?

This is the type that I was thinking of. The local SWAT team shoots AR-10 (.308 caliber AR type rifles) with silencers like this on it.

According to reports, the innocents on scene were released the same day without being arrested.

Here is one account:

Police have stated that no snipers were on scene and none of the photos show scoped rifles.I agree police have said no snipers were on the scene. But they did say the SWAT team was there; so I think they might be using semantics to their advantage.

As for none of the photos show scoped rifles, I disagree. Many photos of the scene do. I haven't sorted out which uniforms belong to which law enforcement organizations, but others are doing that.

Here is an picture (identified as a Waco officer) with a suppressed rifle: it appears to have both a optical sight and a flash light mounted on it.

A little harder to make out, but appear to have optical sights and suppressors.

That one on the left clearly has a large tactical scope on it, with finger adjustable knobs.

You’re confusing him/her/it with hard facts. And that makes it difficult for him/her/it to advance her/his/its narrative.

So, if “the innocents on scene were released the same day without being arrested, then those arrested are not innocents and deserved to be held subject to $1 million bond?

Apparently nobody read what I actually wrote. My question was, “What would the news media’s action have been if these dead bikers had been black. Instead, everybody is so anxious to defend bike gangs they missed what I actually said. I didn’t DAMN anybody, Einstein, I said I didn’t give a damn. Still don’t, but it is a surprise to see how many people can’t tell the difference between Hell’s Angels and Toys for Tots.

Apparently you don't even know what you wrote!! Ha!!

Here it is..to jog your memory

I don’t give a damn about bikers, but imagine if they were black. The media would still be in an uproar.

You pissed off some people.

The expedient thing you could have done..was explain what you were thinking..and better articulate it afterwards...maybe, eh?

Fair enough?

That is AFTER the shootout. The photos of the helicopter are after the shootout also.

The photo in post #103 clearly show a WAKO PD officer in tactical advance with a suppressed AR with a ‘Red Dot” or similar optical sight mounted on the top rail. Bikers are still scrambling under cars so I think this is during the shootout.

You have either chosen not to see and/or you are completely ignorant of todays tactical police equipment and procedures.

Or you just like to argue with the facts.
