'Sure it's a challenge, and a big one,' a Democratic campaign consultant in New Hampshire told Daily Mail Online on background. 'I mean, look – we were hoping she'd run the table and lead wire-to-wire, but her negatives are high so it's going to be a long year-and-a-half.'
Clinton's negatives are indeed high. Fifty per cent of active voters in the swing states of Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, Ohio, and Virginia told pollsters that they have a negative impression of her. Just 42 per cent view her positively.

Thank you for posting this. I was just reading the inside scoop on Politico about her campaign. It goes something like this—
They sound like her team have her as pumped about herself as they had Obama pumped about himself, and they are tailoring her as Rodham, down playing her Clinton ties, and turning her into a so-called, “Wonky Warrior” on policy, since her nerdness actually seems to be her natural strength and what she enjoys most. YUK.
Imagine. Hillary gets to be her “authentic” self this time around and portrayed at least to herselfness that she is truly the “smartest” woman in the world. This should make her performances full of arrogance on steroids and her speechifying the colossal bore it usually is, but with significantly more arrogance.
This bad polling is wonderful news.
EXACTLY my question. Sheesh, these people disgust me. Like everyone knows Hillary is the frontrunner and otherwise had an inevitable march right into the White House.
Put some names to the Republican and lets see how she does.
If there is any accuracy to this compilation of various polls, then the Democrat power brokers are at a serious quandary. Should they keep a known and growing liability, or do they cut their losses right now?
This is the result of allowing a few “stars” to breathe up all the oxygen in the room, and never developing a bench through promotion of governors, senators or other elective officials into positions of high visibility and articulating what values thought to be appealing to a sufficient plurality to gain the electoral college majority.
Or working a massive vote fraud, whatever floats their boat.
Do not discount the potential for fraud.

As I recall, a “generic Republican” kicked BO’s @$$ in every pre-election poll. It still didn’t work out because the GOP eventually had to attach a name to him.
