FULL TITLE: PAUL RYAN UNCHAINED: LASHES OUT AT BREITBART, DRUDGE, DONT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE INTERNET
You know youre losing when youre reduced to attacking the Internet.
House Ways and Means Committee chairman Rep. Paul Ryan is now attacking the Web, proving he shouldnt be trusted by Republican members of Congress to tell the truth about controversial trade legislation.
In an appearance Thursday on Fox and Friends, Ryan criticized Breitbart News and other conservative media including the highly influential Drudge Report, which have revealed the immigration and climate change provisions within President Obamas trade agenda.
Lets talk about trade. Very odd situation the president is fighting without Rep. Nancy Pelosi, without Rep. Steny Hoyer, with republicans to get his trade authority passed through. Youve already discovered through Breitbart and others that there were some provisions in there for climate change, provisions in there for immigration, Brian Kilmeade asked. Youve looked to knock that out and push this forward. Where are you at with trade authority? And are you questioning your own support of it?
Ryan responded by attacking Breitbart News and others on the internet, like the Drudge Report, which has hammered his support of Obamatrade as well.

And I would say ... “Don’t trust everything the so-called Republicans tell you!”

Nicely put....
There is not a single constituency that supports this bill on the left or right yet our so called leaders are going all out for it. What does that tell you ?
MiTT picked a real winner huh?
Treachery and treason.
There's always an excuse for it ...
When things get really dicey in this country Obama and the Congress will cooperate with each other in the imposition of martial law over the people. The elites take care of themselves first and foremost. Its all about them, not us.
“Don’t believe everything on the internet. Believe me and Obama instead.”
Paul Ryan
Our daily jump the shark moment....

True that. Good way to put it.
Ryan is a PUNK who’s been poisoned by the Washington koolaid.
Ryan...Cantor Part Deux
Your 15 minutes are up stooge Ryan.
What does that tell you ?

It tells me they have lucrative lobbyist jobs waiting for them. They go from Main Street to K Street. Capitol Hill is just a stop over for them; a watering hole of sorts.
that was my thought too.
No were voting on a procedure, Ryan said. How does Congress consider trade agreements? Then in the fall, probably in the fall, well consider a trade agreementwhich hasnt been completed yet. Thats why we dont know whats in it because it doesnt exist yet.
What part of this process do people criticizing Ryan not understand? Or is everyone criticizing just against free trade with other nations?
Repeating Ryan, this is not a vote on a negotiated trade agreement. This is a vote establishing how an up or down vote on the trade agreement that is finally negotiated between several nations will be handled in the U.S.
The final result agreed to between participating nations will be published for all to read, and lodge objection to, before it is voted on by a GOP-controlled Congress. If the final agreement is as bad as people are implying, Congress obviously won’t ratify it.
But again, if you’re just against free trade on principle, why not just say that and object on that basis, instead of objecting to provisions that aren’t before Congress for a vote. Those provisions, if they end up in the final, negotiated, agreement, will get plenty of discussion when the time comes but, as Ryan states, Congress in this authorization bill is trying to prohibit certain items from even being negotiated, i.e., climate change provisions and immigration provisions.
I don’t get the outrage, unless it’s just anti-free-trade, in which case just say so.
Yes, The Ministry Of Propaganda tells us everything we need to know.....
If the final agreement is as bad as people are implying, Congress obviously wont ratify it.
You obviously have a lot more confidence in Congress than most. You are among less than 10% .
No were voting on a procedure, Ryan said.

The Republican controlled senate also voted on a procedure concerning the Iran nuclear deal and how did that work out? The senate agreed to REVIEW the deal and approve or disapprove it within the somehow magical timeframe of 30 days. Of course, this deal is really a treaty in disguise and should have been made subject to the constitutionally prescribed approval process obtained by a two-thirds majority vote. Its no wonder that people have no trust or confidence in congress. Poll after poll shows that.
