Help! Even though it's early I've thrown my weight behind Ted Cruz already. Now I'm getting VERY nervous that I've been duped with his position on this trade bill.
What is going on? Free Republic has alot of clout; somehow we have got to flush this out of him and either clarify it was a really bad frickin dream or throw him to the trash pile and get behind someone else.
Anyone have clarity on this?

this is what discourages me; that there’s one candidate apparently heads above the others (Cruz) and then “the others”. Then, the only one that seems qualified does something like this and really throws me for a loop.
My question is definitely NOT about being fickle, I can assure you. I am very concerned that he’s supporting a bill that hands massive control to odumbo, flings the alien gates open and apparently screws us to the wall.
No one has read it and no one is talking.
I have a HUGE Ted Cruz bumper sticker on my car. I just sent him a bunch of money. I want to know that he is who I think he is. Or thought he was.

I’m not saying Cruz is one, nor Walker. BUT both have some explaining to do on some issues in which they’ve taken the liberal side. So... I’m waiting....

My husband is conservative, so yes, we agree on political issues.
And we both escaped Mexifornia because of how illegal immigration has ruined the state. So why would we back a pro-amnesty candidate after going through so much trouble to get back to the US?
If my husband decided to become pro-amnesty, then he’s not the person I thought he was, I’d lose respect for him, and divorce him. No doubt in my mind.

I’m going to let Cruz and Walker explain their issues I am concerned about - but I don’t like being pushed to accept an unknown candidate just because we are so desperate. We do this every 4 years! Isn’t anyone else tired of it?

I see government as far worse than corporations. Although large corporations resemble government agencies and get away with having monopolies and other unethical things.
IF we had an ethical government and reasonable tax rates and didn’t let unions bankrupt companies- capitalism could thrive
