President Obama delivered a sharply critical speech today at the Catholic Health Association Conference, blasting his critics for ignoring what he calls the reality that Obamacare is here to stay. The critics stubbornly ignore reality, he said, boasting that since Obamacare was passed, jobs actually increased and opened up health care to millions.

The negro community organizer from Chicago just may be right. There are enough bums, illegals, perverts and sick Republican “leaders” to keep it in place. We conservatives are a disorganized minority.

HAH!!!
It was not even written by a single ONE of the members of the legislative body RESPONSIBLE for “weaving” our laws...
LET ALONE READ by ANY ONE OF THEM!!!

It would certainly be nice to do that. But it would require:
A GOP House (which we have)
A GOP 60-vote Senate majority (which we don’t have)
And either a GOP White House or GOP 67-vote veto proof Senate majority (which we don’t have)
So the practical, realistic option is to try to soft land the thing by slowly poison-pulling it to death in a way that exposes it’s flaws and allows the Democrats to get the blame for the monster they created.

Correction: poison-pilling.

Karl, is that you?
We can’t quite accomplish anything on our agenda yet because (fill in the blank with whatever will fool the proles today).
Can we count on your support to help replace Obama and his Democrats in the (House / Senate) who continue to block our common sense reform?
Please send your checks to GOPe Excuse Department, 666 K Street, Washigton D.C.
(Yeah, I’ve received your solicitations before.)

So, what’s YOUR plan to make it happen without the institutional control necessary to do so?
To: tanknetter
Shut down the government until 0bama agrees to a budget that defunds 0bamacare.

Piecemeal budget bits that fund things everyone agrees on, and send them to 0bama for signing.

Cancer is woven into the fabric of American society, but one does not applaud that. Instead, one cuts it out and treats it to make it go away. The same goes for Obamacare.

Returning to "regular order" and ending the pattern/trend of omnibus funding bills is a great idea, and need to happen regardless.
However none of what you propose actually kills, let alone repeals, Obamacare. At best it results in yet another game of chicken with a President who has shown a willingness to kamikaze the country in order to protect his egotistical investment in his Obamacare legacy.
And the game of chicken is just over government FUNDING
What people need to understand is that a lot of Obamacare functions on auto-pilot at this point. Denying HHS funding doesn't shut down the individual and employer mandates. Denying the IRS funding doesn't mean that citizens are relieved of their legal obligation to either buy insurance or pay a fine tax for failing to do so.
Denying government funding also doesn't mean that insurance companies are relieved of their legal obligation to abide by the Obamacare minimum standards, coverage of preexisting conditions, coverage of children in their parents' plan up to age 26, etc, etc, etc. All of which are the driving factors in the exploding premiums.
In fact, I don't think that denying government funding even stops the 85% bailout of insurance companies that Obamacare obligates the government to. Just like how shutting down the government doesn't halt Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security payments from going out.
The only thing that kills Obamacare dead is an outright repeal. Which still requires the institutional controls I listed earlier.
To: tanknetter
the Obama administration said the same thing about the oversight in the voting rights quotas.

‘Woven’ ... That’s the key word here. Its why they make the public wait until knowing what is passed. From 0bamacare, to the FCC internet for strictions, to the TPP.
Once its woven, its tougher to get rid of
