President Obama’s frustration that the federal courts could unwind much of his legacy burst into public display on Monday.
In some of his toughest and bluntest comments to date, Obama said the Supreme Court should not even have accepted a case challenging his signature healthcare law.
“This should be an easy case; frankly it shouldn't have even been taken up,” Obama said during a news conference in Germany at the Group of Seven (G-7) summit of leading industrial democracies.
The King vs. Burwell decision, expected later this month, could deliver a lethal blow to ObamaCare by ruling that federal subsidies, granted to nearly 6.4 million people to purchase insurance, are illegal.
It’s just one of several legal challenges to his agenda that have clearly got under the president’s skin. Obama also expressed frustration with lower courts for blocking executive actions intended to allow millions of immigrants to apply for deportation relief.
And the high court is expected to rule this month on a challenge to the Environmental Protection Agency’s first limits on mercury and other toxic emissions from power plants, one of Obama’s most aggressive moves to address climate change.
“It’s hugely frustrating for the president,” said Julian Zelizer, professor of public affairs at Princeton University.

How come the GOP is not allowed (per Rat rules) to criticize the POTUS when he is overseas, but POTUS is allowed to criticize a branch of the government when he is overseas?

On legal advice.....of the top 1,000 political figures in DC today....I would suggest that President Obama is pretty near the bottom. He basically hears only what he wants to hear, and it’s a bad habit to sign up for.
Obama should face the fact that America does not want him at their neighborhood pool.
POTUS has also criticized the Supreme Court and Congress in his SOTUS.
Its that damn Constitution again with its separation of powers Bull......t!
I assert AGAIN the fact that Obama hates the three Cs:
Christianity
Constitution
Capitalism
Here on display is his hatred for the second C. He hates the idea of separation of powers because it does not allow him to rule by fiat.

Right. Like when I’m at the store and there’s a kid on the floor screaming himself red in the face because mom won’t spring for candy... HE’S ‘hugely frustrated’ TOO!
Oh well.... that’s life. At least the KID is getting the lesson early and won’t have to wait until he’s a grown may to find out that rules matter and that the world ain’t here for HIS ease and comfort.
“O” is the kid who NEVER observed (or EVEN KNEW) the rules and doesn’t have the character to deal with impediments to HIS will and wishes.
