What does this have to do with the discussion at hand???
Two wrongs don’t make a right. I don’t care what happend to Mama BooBoo, that does not give anyone the justification to harass the duggar girls.
They are just collateral damage.
For the liberals and many here at FR, it's about their hatred of the Duggars, for whatever reasons, and destroying them.
For others, they have a sense of self righteousness to destroy Josh, for his sins. The girls just get in the way.
Funny...the girls who were accosted have forgiven him, but those not involved are their to make sure he is burned at the stake.
If the girls get burnt as well, in the process...oops...oh well.
But hey...its really about protecting the girls.
You keep posting that Josh was not invited to his sisters’ weddings but if you check the pictures at the links below, you will see that he and Anna were a part of the celebrations.
There was some concern that Josh might not make it back from a business meeting in time for Jessa’s wedding, but he was definitely invited and he did make it in time.
In fact, Josh was asked by the couples to design the invitations for each of their weddings since Josh is skilled at graphic design.
I watched the weddings of all three Duggar siblings - Josh, Jill and Jessa.

You win the hug for first to answer what you would have done
Is anyone now here saying they would have insisted the police charge him and have his sisters testify against him and lock him away hopefully as an adult
Some posters here hint at that
I don’t see many families doing that given these circumstances as we know them now
If more damaging facts emerge then that becomes more of a possibility
My own thought was kind of like yours
Culver or St. Andrews or McCalley or Christ King
Boarding school
Get him away and counseling
If the depth of the molestation is what is disclosed or if what really happened is much worse then that would impact my views obviously
The two girls Megyn interviewed did not appear to be lying but there were others
I agree moving him from the house to boarding school seemed prudent and dad could afford the 35-50k
Before I lecture anyone I have a confession to make
On threads where some here call my southern ancestors nazis and that they should have all been hanged I get pretty indignant
That’s an understatement....I’m infamous for it
So....like the Duggars I’m lecturing from a glass house
There have always been groups here of posters....a coed group but mostly older girls and single men who clique together and get pretty tossed up over topics and can on occasion brook no dissent and if one dissents then one can be labeled as condoning or part of the problem being fleshed out
This is the nature of Internet forums where folks can be more rude than they would be face to face
We’ve done this over:
Trixie
George Bush in 2000
Terry Schiavo....bless her heart
Amnesty...yes hard to believe isn’t it
Katrina
Primaries in 2008 and 2012 and the wideawakes exodus
And now the Duggars....the Waco bike massacree too
And lots of minor skirmishes over prurient stuff like porn and abuse....about anything that can be traced to males being bad
Like I said....I’m no saint
I have enemies here myself to the point I dare not disclose my oldest boy’s moniker here
You come here for info and friends and you ignore when you disagree with friends
There’s plenty of action to go around....like Vegas for arguing
I’m not the only person questioning aspects of all this
Sarah Palin foremost
Mike Huckabee
Sean Hannity
Rush Limbaugh
Mark Levin
Megyn Kelly
Decent company
Meanwhile look at those savaging the whole Duggar clan starting with the homosexual activist who brought them down as he brags now on Gawker
And including some GenX social lib libertarians like Greg Gutfeld
Some of these people are just too vile
The interview with the girls changed me and my wife
It made us question our first instincts..of which my wife’s is usually keen
She says their biggest sin or flaw besides oddness is naivete
I heard those stats on Megyn Kelly. I actually found them shocking in a good way as I would have never thought the number who don’t reooffend would be so high. This won’t matter to those who are out for blood, though. I’ve seen posters here who say his daughters should be taken away.
They did say in the interview or I heard Jim Bob say there were a couple incidents that were under the clothes or when they were awake.
When the law was involved in 2006, they seemed to find no indication he was still molesting. Otherwise, he would have been hauled off to prison.
See, when you refer to the family as a “cult” family who you would like out of the public eye, I feel like your motivation is that what the liberals is. You don’t like their “brand” of Christianity.
Wow. What’s the point in continuing to carry on debate if your standards are higher than Christ’s standards.
If it’s proven the molestations didn’t stop when he was a teen, I will eat my words, but so far, there is no indication of that.
“Are you a Christian?
What does this have to do with the discussion at hand???”
A lot actually.
We will see. Interesting that Josh is not talking though. But if he does sit down and gets questions he might contradict something he said before, so I get it.
Yes. The judge had no jurisdiction. The situation never made it to court. No court = no jurisdiction.
It sounds like routine law in Juvenile proceedings to me.
Once again, the case never made it to court. So, there were no "proceedings".
Yup.
First, FOIA is a federal law not applicable to states.
Second, the release was entirely legal under Arkansas state law.
