A police officer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area has been suspended after video footage emerged that shows him wrestle a bikini-clad girl to the ground and then point his gun at a group of unarmed teenagers.
The incident happened after McKinney Police Department received several calls on Friday night about a disturbance near the Craig Ranch North Community Pool.
Cell phone footage of the incident shows one officer arrive at the scene and start overreacting in a manner that does little to defuse the situation.

Watched the whole video. That cop is an assh*le and needs to lose his job.

Here’s just the part where the cop pulled his gun. Look again the kids were backing away from him when he drew his weapon. They had run up to him and when he started to stand up they backed up and then he pulled the weapon.

You know... neighborhood pools like that are funded by the neighborhood association, and that is funded by the people who live there. The only “assholes” there were the people trespassing, who thought they had a right to just show up and use someone else’s pool. And then scream, fight, and create a ruckus when they’re told to leave.

That’s an urban legend...unless, of course, Affirmative Action has entered the hiring picture. That’s the current situation with new Air Traffic Controllers being hired...they’re passing over highly qualified candidates who have studied aviation and ATC in college as well as military controllers who are certified air traffic controllers. In addition to passing over the highly qualified candidates (because they are mostly white) they also have been giving the blacks, who will be applying for ATC positions, the test answers in advance. Google and you’ll see this is a fact.

I agree that the ferals shouldn’t have been there; however, there is a right way and a wrong way to deal with that kind of a situation and that cop handled it the wrong way. I expect he’ll be looking for a new job shortly.

According to a witness-North Dallas teens overtook a quiet community pool in McKinney TX by jumping over the fences, cursed out the parents with their little kids, threatening the parents, being disrespectful, running from the cops, fighting oh and acting like complete entitled assholes who don’t belong there. There was no racism, police brutality, it was idiotic teens doing idiotic things and thinking they didn’t need to suffer any consequences. Now our beautiful neighborhood and neighbors feel like someone came and pooped all over our lives.

I figure he’ll be looking for a new job too.... because of the current national climate. You know, a bunch of people trespassing who won’t leave when they are told too. To me... the right way is to bring a bus in and haul them all downtown and charge them all with trespassing, and let their parents bail them out. Its really that simple.

Its not a public pool. Its owned by a neighborhood association. Its funded by the neighbors. That means its private property and restricted use to the members of that neighborhood association. That’s the problem.... this is simply trespassing. Everyone here would be fine with the cop acting like that if that herd was in their yard, or their pool, or on their property. Leave means leave when you’re trespassing. Not leaving is suppose to mean you get arrested.
Yeah, the cop crossed the line. But the "fact" you state are from one of the crowd that crashed this pool. The other side of the story is that this group continues to crash pool parties across the area led by a guy on Twitter announcing places and times along with spots to hide from cops when they show up. There are also eye-witness reports of some of them having sex in the pool. They were asked to leave and didn't. Fights broke out.
Still lots to learn about this incident. Don't take Huffpost's lame article as "facts."
Could not agree more. Obviously, the correct way to handle a rowdy party, and people who are ignoring orders to disperse is to politely, but firmly, ask that they turn around so that the handcuffs can be properly applied.
