A police officer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area has been suspended after video footage emerged that shows him wrestle a bikini-clad girl to the ground and then point his gun at a group of unarmed teenagers.
The incident happened after McKinney Police Department received several calls on Friday night about a disturbance near the Craig Ranch North Community Pool.
Cell phone footage of the incident shows one officer arrive at the scene and start overreacting in a manner that does little to defuse the situation.

You want a cop who lives by the golden rule.
if failure to disperse justified this officer’s conduct, then why was he the only one doing it? How did all of the other officers manage to conduct themselves in a professional manner, if the circumstances required rolling on the ground, ninja-style, and tossing people to the ground?
Maybe he was the only good cop on the scene, and the others were just too lazy to do their jobs? That must be it.
” I am sure the cop would have MUCH preferred for her to calmly follow directions and turn around and allow him to handcuff her without all the fighting.”
He told her to leave and she was leaving. She was also still jawing at him while she was leaving.
He lost his temper. Sorry but anybody that out of control shouldn’t be a cop.
As far him much preferring calm he was the one doing most of the running in circles and screaming. The other cops handled it much better.
Actually, if you read the report again (even more s-l-o-w-l-y this time), they clearly have already watched the video, and it “raised concerns,” enough so that the officer in question (and NONE of the other officers on the scene) has been suspended.
Again, it’s interesting that just the one guy got himself in trouble. Hmmmm.
Not enough of the video before this incident, or after this incident to judge their actions in my opinion. I’ll say this.... looked like nice neighborhood.... If I lived across the street there from all that ruckus.... I’d have called the cops too. When “the hood” comes to the suburbs, there is gonna be a serious clash....
she obviously had an attitude problem and refused to follow instructions then resisted arrest at which point the cop took her to the ground to forcefully arrest her dispute her continued attempts to resist.
Lesson here is... do not resist.
you keep trying to figure it out, nothing more needs to be said.
I agree - the officers’ presence was needed, and the crowd needed to be dispersed. But that doesn’t justify this one officer’s reaction. And it really was only one officer - everyone else handled themselves professionally and competently.
Maybe there’s more video that I haven’t seen??
You’re right. Nothing else needs to be said. You have shown exactly who and what you are through your repeated insults of anyone who disagreed with you in the thread.
The “Teen” took off running and two melanin challenged cops actually caught him, even after a head start in the footrace! I guess those guys spend time in the gym rather than loading up on doughnuts, and I don’t think the cigarette the guy had in his mouth helped him one bit! ;) In addition he was bleeding from the mouth...so, what can we learn from this?
White people CAN run fast
White people CAN box
Smoking is bad for you!
;)
Agreed.
Could be, but the one officer was acting differently than all the other officers even before he encountered THAT girl. At the start of the video, he is seen rushing to the scene and, for some unknown reason, does what the article describes as a “theatrical tumble” (and there’s really no better way to describe it), then started running at various groups of people at the scene.
It wasn’t just the one girl. It was his overall demeanor, before and after encountering her. It stands in marked contrast with the demeanor and conduct of every other officer in the video (who, again, acted with the utmost professionalism).
lolol
Buncha Dindu Nuffin’s acting like savages again.
Yep... go home, get out of here, leave.... means LEAVE. It doesn’t mean stand around a scream and cry and argue about what you were or weren’t doing while trespassing.
Not saying that I know what happened in this case but your generic rule about not pulling guns on kids in swimsuits is silly.
Let the record show that you want the cops taken out.
