Today we head to the range to honor TexasCowboy's love of the 2nd Amendment by shooting lots of guns & eating BBQ on the range.
Friday was a day of leisure, shopping, getting items stuck in a tree, eating yummy food and cursing a stupid fishing poles. Fun times!
Pictures will be posted at some point ~ the wifi is iffy here, so be patient.
Nah!! We have to have more shoots first!
Or do you know something we don’t know.......
Aw, Luvvie! It was a little hatchling, tiny thing, and very comfortable in my hands.
It never once opened its little mouth, nor did it try to bite me.
I was sad when it was time for it to go back into the perforated box. The captain
said that he was supposed to release one of the two babies he had, and he
released the larger one, figuring that it had a better chance to survive than the
smaller one.
I didn’t know that alligator mothers abandon their hatchlings to the whims of the
swamp, and I would certainly never harm a ‘gator unless it was ripping my leg off.
Bryan and I are animal lovers, all animals are safe with us.
Bryan is a great photographer. I’ll tell him you liked them. ;-)
I know something.
I would have had a better time if you were there, too.
Got hugs, but your hugs are the best.
Close friends coming together.
And me drinking water, wearing shoes and near a real bathroom...
Huffman Thug Life, yo! ;-)
I like that one too.
Truth is, I’d probably want to hold one, too. I’ve never been afraid of critters. I HATE roaches, but they are just nasty. I’ve collected frogs, tadpoles, fish, tiny snakes and lizards when I was a kid. Mind you, I don’t any more. LOL!
Indeed it is friendship. :)
LOL! “Roaches!”
When I woke up my first morning after arriving at the cottages, a 2-inch-long cockroach
escorted me out of the bedroom. Bryan squished it when he got up. I would have settled
for just kicking it out. It was afraid of neither light nor human. That was its undoing.
Stupid roach! LOL! I might take a can of Raid with me next time. Thank goodness I didn’t see any. Ugh. Brian is brave. :)
Bryan is my hero!
Bryan is a sweetie! (sorry I keep misspelling his name!!)
Bryan and I are not petty about that stuff. Most Americans would spell it
Brian, but he was born and named in England where it is spelled Bryan.
No biggie! Please don’t worry about it. Bryan and I don’t.
Those photos are great - beautiful clarity!
Great pic of you and Bryan!
Goodness! I missed your message there, dear mylife!
I cut off my hair after I had a couple of chemo sessions and
donated it to a salon that makes wigs for chemo patients.
Bryan cut the rest of it off to about 1/8” long with his hair
clippers, and the rest of it all just fell out along with all
the hair on my body, and I do mean everywhere on my body.
It will be about four years before my hair grows back enough
to be tumbling down my back in ringlets. Sigh... I can wait.
Don’t know where we’ll be or what we’ll be doing in January
of 2016, but if you want to stop by and have dinner at the
Spread Eagle Tavern, you’re welcome to come with us. I miss
you and would enjoy seeing you again.
